Why radix =10,2,16,8 for decimal,binary,hexadecimal,octal number system??

DEC means Ten, Bi mean Two, Hexa is 6 & Dec is 10 hence Hexadecimal is 16 Finally Octa Means 8 This is the way the number system are named
