Where creeping vines take over graves and conjured spirits misbehave, where pumpkins grin and ravens glare, and warn to enter, if you dare. For only fools would ever follow the crooked path to grim wood hollow! What a splendid rhyme! With an even better haunt. You guys are absolutely incredible with detailing, I have to admit it's hard to tell the difference between a household and a swamp right now!! You are spectacular!!!

This is a truly incredible yard haunt! The amount of detail is unbelievable. Of course, I love it as a whole, but here are my most favorite parts: - The poem you wrote for guests to read on their way in (1:37) - The Pumpkin sitting on the well and the corpse inside of it (2:28) - The witch's corpse and the crow sitting on top of the box she is in (14:06) - The witch stirring the cauldron, with a little Pumpkin guy leaning against it (7:35; The contents look so realistic, my mind is absolutely blown!) - The pumpkin guy popping out of the box to say hello and giggling (12:30; He is adorable! The bell sounds are a great touch.) - The corpse at 4:38 (She is is super spooky. I love the sound effects you placed in your scene! My favorites were the toads and crows.) In addition to the points made, I also enjoyed the background music used in this video! I enjoyed this video a lot. You did a fabulous job setting up this haunt and creating everything for it! This is a job well done for sure. ❤️

I am curious to know, do the swamp witch or pumpkin guy in the box have names? I've heard in the chat of the finale video regarding the pumpkin Imps naming them (the Imps) would be really difficult. How about your witch's corpse, the one in the well, and the little Pumpkin guy operating it? 🎃

Some great stuff, the corpse in the well is excellent and the witch too. Where did you get the small creepy pumpkin heads and are those gas lanterns with flicker candles inside, great touch along with the candles by the graves.

We made pretty much everything when it comes to the props, creatures, characters, set pieces, etc, but most of the trees and branches are real! Yeah all of the music we use is from a band called Nox Arcana, they are awesome and have tons of original CD’s! They compose really great spooky music that they encourage you to use for your haunts and other events! Check em out! And thanks for watching!🎃😄👍

i love everything about this the witch and her minions have so much detail! and i love the fence and archway design it adds the creepy atmosphere. over all it all ties in together great. And i like the choice of music! Keep it up and happy haunting!
Yeah storage is always an issue, our haunt keeps growing but our house doesn’t haha! Most is stored in the garage, and any corner we can cram it into haha! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Grimwood Hollow anytime but I do have two Halloween props that move I have a clown and a jumping spider and some small props do you have any idea on what I could do with them it’s okay if you dont
David Revill Hi David, yeah we make all of our props ourselves, it’s been a passion of mine my entire life! I’ve been a sculptor for the entertainment industry for 33 years and also have been doing haunted attractions since I was a kid! I just love trying to create unique props and characters so that people can experience an original one of a kind show when they visit our haunt! I made the witch from a cheap pose n stay skeleton and then did a build up sculpture on it with latex, cotton, and paper towels. I created the animated arm using a similar technique as those “punching nun” puppets! 🎃👻💀

Did you just use plastic baubles on the creep’s cauldron for the bubbles? Because I like that idea better than using skeleton bones on top of the plexiglass. This display is amazing. Hands down top notch. The more times you watch it the more details pop out.

I usually work on new props throughout the year, but the actual set up we start on Oct 1st and it takes us a few weeks. Then we only run our show for a few nights though unfortunately because a lot of our display has to be set up and taken down every night we are running our show, ugh, it’s a ton of work! But it’s Halloween!!🎃👍
Thanks so much! The lil Pumpkin imps were conjured up by the ol swamp witch to do her mischievous evil bidding! Haha j/k, they were some of our new creations we added this year! I sculpted them out of clay, did the mold and castings, and painted them. I am going to be posting some “making of” videos soon showing the creation of all of our new props and characters from 2019! Your yard haunt is amazing! I cannot stand the cheap trashy Spirit Halloween gore shit and just generic garbage that most people buy. Your haunts are very different and I love the DIY and organic and rustic feel that your artwork gives off. It is much like Pumpkinrot and that natural organic style that he uses. I dig the use of natural twigs and branches and how you age and antique some of your props.

I have always loved combining earthy organic elements like twigs and vines with creatures, characters and props, that has always been my aesthetic! @@keklordgrey4522 I actually made the swamp witch from scratch, it’s a one of a kind build up sculpture. Here’s is the first video I ever posted on UA-cam and it shows her off pretty cool! i love everything about this the witch and her minions have so much detail! and i love the fence and archway design it adds the creepy atmosphere. over all it all ties in together great. And i like the choice of music! Keep it up and happy haunting!

Yeah storage is always an issue, our haunt keeps growing but our house doesn’t haha! Most is stored in the garage, and any corner we can cram it into haha! Thanks so much for the kind words!

David Revill Hi David, yeah we make all of our props ourselves, it’s been a passion of mine my entire life! I’ve been a sculptor for the entertainment industry for 33 years and also have been doing haunted attractions since I was a kid! I just love trying to create unique props and characters so that people can experience an original one of a kind show when they visit our haunt! andrewschneider9 Thank you so much for the kind words!! We actually made all of our props and characters from scratch, it’s what we love to do! I made the witch from a cheap pose n stay skeleton and then did a build up sculpture on it with latex, cotton, and paper towels. I created the animated arm using a similar technique as those “punching nun” puppets! 🎃👻💀

Did you just use plastic baubles on the creep’s cauldron for the bubbles? Because I like that idea better than using skeleton bones on top of the plexiglass.
This display is amazing. Hands down top notch. The more times you watch it the more details pop out.

Awesome!!!! How long does it take you to set up?
I usually work on new props throughout the year, but the actual set up we start on Oct 1st and it takes us a few weeks. Then we only run our show for a few nights though unfortunately because a lot of our display has to be set up and taken down every night we are running our show, ugh, it’s a ton of work! But it’s Halloween!!🎃👍

Thanks so much! The lil Pumpkin imps were conjured up by the ol swamp witch to do her mischievous evil bidding! Haha j/k, they were some of our new creations we added this year! I sculpted them out of clay, did the mold and castings, and painted them. I am going to be posting some “making of” videos soon showing the creation of all of our new props and characters from 2019! Your yard haunt is amazing! I cannot stand the cheap trashy Spirit Halloween gore shit and just generic garbage that most people buy. Your haunts are very different and I love the DIY and organic and rustic feel that your artwork gives off. It is much like Pumpkinrot and that natural organic style that he uses. I dig the use of natural twigs and branches and how you age and antique some of your props.

I have always loved combining earthy organic elements like twigs and vines with creatures, characters and props, that has always been my aesthetic! I did a lot of this in my pro haunt The Haunted Vineyard that I ran from 2002-2005. I have a full walkthrough video of it you might dig!
