Thank you for this video. As a new Anycubic Kobra 2 Max owner, I was struggling with how I could transfer the .stl files to make it work on the printer. One other thing that I learned is that, for me, I needed to insert the disk into the 3D printer, and then turn on the printer to get the printer to detect my disc and file.
haven't tried this yet. but i have certainly tried alot. it usually tells me "please replace the material" after I hit print, but shows no heat settings. the files show that they have saved as a gcode file & will pull up on my printer; just with no heat settings & won't actually print.
@@petsol You are correct. As a newbie, I hadn't realized that, but figured it out soon after. Thank you for posting this reply as others may not have noted that.
@@rowanwatson5254 look up densitys of your filament pla is usually 1.25g/cm3 change that in your filament settings to know after slicing. happy printing :)
Do you have a video that covers supports in greater detail with the Anycubic Slicer? I am new to Anycubic and 3-D printing but I have a few designs I have created need supports. I went with the default on the Anycubic and I can't even remove the supports from the part, and it trashed. But part of the learning experience. Thanks
Hi love your video and its very understandable, i need your help, can u make a video explain the cut future in this slicer and how to connect the models with pegs and other connectors.
I really like this slicer. Getting much better results with it, compared to previously using cura. Works great with my Kobra Max2, love the direct print option, no more SD cards needed. I've guessed the settings to use it with my Kobra (1). Getting good results. Would be nice if there was native support for the Kobra (1).
Thank you for the video. Is there a option to change the traveling when printing multiple objects in one print from "all the same time" to "one after another"?
Damn. I was hoping you would talk about the support z distance option. I cant figure it out. It seems exactly the same as in Cura but it doesnt work. My supports just wont come apart. If I use a 0.2 layer quality I usually put 0.4 on the z distance, so I can remove the supports with no proble.. but here it doesnt work. They fuse together all the way. Did you, by any chance, figure it out? Thank for the video about the slicer bro. You are literally the only one on YT that has made a video about it.
I hope you can answer my question im tired racking my old brain my problem is how do you save the print to the flashdrive its nothing like cura im use to using cura for my filament printer im new to resin printer your slicer on the video looks different then the one im using im using the photon workshop for resin thank you in advance if you help me
Im totally new to 3d printing g but have been trying to learn a lot. just got the kobra 2 neo. When I use their default settings in any cubic slicer, I get decent prints. I tried using their suggested settings in cura slicer and couldn’t get bed adhesion. I assume I should open them both up and tweak cura to look more like the anycubic profile? I want to start using cura tho because it’s so common
You may have your resolution to low, and the button is not showing. Try viewing your screen in a higher reslution to see the whole windown for the slicer.
The anycubic slicer is the biggest pain in the ass I've ever used.... Although I guess it matches the printer because the printer is nothing but a pain in the ass... Do not buy this junk
Thank you. An excellent intro to the Anycubic Slicer.

I have the same printer and I saw the same thing.

push the usb button on the screen, maybe you have to push the house button before...

Is there a way to see approx cost of filament? There is option to set a price per kg but where does it show calculated cost after slicing?
i am currently looking for this exact feature also
I started using another slicer, prusa slicer. The cost estimation works there as expected.

Use organic(tree) support ,
WE have a new video on our channel that covers support material. Organic tree support with a couple easy tweaks in settings has worked for us!
Very well done Sir, thank you! Do you have a video on Support Material settings?
We just added a new video to our channel about support material. We also have a new video on the updated slicer as well.

This video helped me on my way to using this program. Awesome video and information. Thanks. 👍
Thanks for sharing this video, as a 3D printer newb and soon-to-be anycubic kobra 2 pro owner I found this information brilliant. 👏🏻
Thank you Pete! We are using the Anycubic Pro as well, and we have a couple updated video on the slicer as well.

how do you pause at certain height
How can I configure a Filament change for example with M600 in the anycubic slicer? Or maybe also in anycubic slicer next?

You can "snap to" while rotating part by holding cursor over clock wheel. Just like meshmixer.
Can you show if we can add our own supports and if we can mirror images?
You can turn on paint on supports the second icon from the bottom
Thank you for the video. When you have the time please make a video on piecing and printing larger models.

where is the setting to make the object change colors when you select it?
How did you get the weight of filament to show up after slicing it? Mine says 0 grams
You have to set the filament density in the filament settings
Is there a slow setting and can you cut a different angles on this slicer please.
How to fill the bed with copies because I did not find it?

Excellent video. Thank you.
Please make a video with the highest quality settings and we will apply them
Thanks a lot I have the Cbra 3 an I try to select the basic colour to slize hoe can I do this? Best Markus
I havent done dual color with my 3 yet. When I do, I will let you know!
I don't have an "export gcode" button at the bottom right corner. Any idea why? Everything else looks the same.
You may have your resolution to low, and the button is not showing. Try viewing your screen in a higher reslution to see the whole windown for the slicer.
Thanks, This helped me a lot!
Thank you. Like and subscribed!
My printer is a Anycubic Photon Mono M5S, my software doesn’t look like this? I have a Imac should it look different?
There are different slicers for resin and filament printers 👍
Thanks for tutorial! Please tell about supports, how to add them to model?
Thanks! We have just added a video about supports with the updated 1.4.4 slicer.
I don't have the 2 buttons in the bottom right. Any suggestions? Can any 3d imagine std file be sliced into gcode?
I think its screen resolution thing. Try viewing your screen in a higher resolutuon. You will see the whole slicer window then.
Hi! how can I make a temperature tower on Anycubic Slicer?
I Need help guys 😅 I upload gcode to the app, constantly shows model file is damaged unable to precess to next step
Does anyone know how to show the cost of filament?
