Miami is a must win. A loss in that game just kills everything

A loss to UM at the Swamp to open a "do or die" season, against this schedule, could become a catastrophe in short order. Lose that one badly enough, and the rest of the season is epilogue.

Miami, we need to get off on the right foot and influence the recruits

I already posed this question to Florida fans on another channel and got a great response I agreed with from a Florida fan with the handle name Eduardodiaz9 and he said UCF because of Billy being on the hot seat and the instate recruiting battles. It's just not a good look ! Builds UCF momentum and if Florida loses to the likes of teams like both UCF and Miami, then they would probably lose their last 5 games as well.
For Miami it's Duke, the Miami fan base will never let Mario live down losing to Manny Diaz now the head coach at Duke.
77 days (11 weeks) til the Canes invade the Swamp !

Florida 33 - Miami 13! I honestly think/believe that Florida will get to 5 - 0. I'm not so sure about the rest of the schedule just yet.😉👍🙏🐊

The last five have been brutal to us. You better when all those before that. We beat TN, because they are dumb and gave us the run to stop the pass. 😂😂 Like they hadn’t watch KY blueprint

You are both wrong. It's Miami. If we lose to Miami, that is a guarantee that we will have a losing season. Most of the teams on our schedule are better than Miami. So if we can't beat the Canes, it's a wrap.

I don’t think it’s anything to be right or wrong about. It’s an opinion, not a fact. Various opponents fit the bill in their own way.

@@GatorsBreakdown Why do you do that? It's my opinion that you are wrong. Everything is an opinion until it's not. So if they lose to Miami and go 5-7 again, I was right and it was a fact. Just like all the fans that think Napier should have been fired after the first season, if he gets fired this season, they were right and we wasted 2 more years on this guy when those fans voices should have been heard. Why do you not realize that if you are going to put yourself in the public and express your opinions, people are are going to disagree with you.

@@WCworkhorse fire a coach after one season? That makes no sense whether he works out or not. I accept others opinions a lot on this platform. Your opinion is Miami for good reason and I have good reasons for another opponent. Nothing more, nothing less. Not as deep as you’re making it out to be.

Every game matters but UCF and Miami are too important

I looked over the schedule, and I am going to make an argument for the third game of the season, first conference game, and a home game as well against Texas AM.
If Florida does lose to Miami, this game could be the difference between 1-2 or 2-1 continuing conference play the following week at Mississippi State. Florida's schedule is too tough to try and dig themselves out of a hole.
Besides, Florida fans would be upset with a loss at home to Texas AM, especially if they already lost to Miami. Can't imagine the temperature reading on Billy's seat if that were to happen.

Your concern for an adversary's well-being is sporting, if premature. I'd suggest you consider what happens if UM stinks it up in Gainesville, with Mario delivering his own coup d' gras - yet again. What if he then goes on to lose to anyone with a pulse because he has never perfected any actual coaching skills? You won't have much time to worry about BN and the Gators if MC gets hammered. FTR, BN at least did well at his previous stops, while Mario left town a laughingstock among Oregon fans as s gameday coach and a developer of talent. SOS: The irony in our polar opposite schedules is that we can win 7 games and receive flowers for standing up against the toughest schedule in the country - with a five-star phenom coming in at QB in '25 as the wind at our backs. If you win 7, you're stagnant or just chronic underachievers in the eyes of the CFB world. Think what you like, Mario is under the peculiar pressure of proving that he can dominate mediocre competition. That could turn out to be less of an advantage than one might think.
