So beautiful to honor a man who gave his whole adult life, besides running a farm & raising 4 children, he wholly gave life to serve his country, & put projects in motion to heal & serve human beings around the globe, after starting the Carter Center, and getting deeply involved & dedicated to Habitat for Hunanity. It says so much about him as a man, & about his providential & harmonious pairing with Rosalyn, and more than any other modern era president, about using the gifts & skills God gave them, then passing the torch to his sons & daughter, & grandson Jason, who along with the Carter family, has taken the baton to serve on the board of The Carter Center. Jimmy and Rosalyn could have had a retirement of leisure, yet with everything they had in mind, body, soul & spirit...they never once entertained the idea of stopping aid, help, & caring for others - as long as they were able bodied, up to their "Home Going". In a way, I think it was not meant for them to win the second term, because God had these magnificent plans & that He is now saying, I would like to think..."Well done, my good and faithful servants.. ".
