I'm late to the party but I used Flex Tape to seal a basement window that had a small rock-size hole in it from landscapers. The window is sound, just had the hole. I taped both sides at the hole and maybe 2 inches around it, and it's been completely sealed and secured. The product worked great for me. I would guess it just depends on the application.
I have found none of the flex products work on pressurized leaks. We had a soaker hose that is buried in a garden but it was squirting at the tap. Flex tape just turned the leak into a pour instead of a spray...also the flex spray stuff....none of that works...but if I ever wanted a flex spray boat....guess that is covered 🤨🙄
Found the spray works well as long as you apply multiple coats over about a week. However that defeats the object of it being useful for emergency leaks like they show in the commercials.
I agree with your review of Flex tape. Had a pipe start leaking in my ceiling. turned the flow of the water off and put it over the hole. it was still leaking. Also bought the flex seal the same day. the water that was still in the pipe was mixing with the flex seal and just falling to the ground. Not exactly as they demonstrated it.
I noticed some anomalies in the flex tape fresh off the roll, it has micro creases and valleys going crosswise. And noticed those micro creases where placed over the leaks instead of aside the leaks. Those anomalies will create a trough for a mini stream. keep those pesky creases away from the leak all together, should work better.

the thing with flex tape is that a couple kinds of plastic ruin the adhesive over time, but those plastics are used frequently in hoses, pools, pipes, and most leaky things.
Minor, but mentioning a lot of people leave their houses out on their lawn connected to their sprinklers and stuff, so having a hose you could safely run over while mowing the lawn would actually be a selling point. The current solution is you move the hose and lawn fixture out of the way while you mow that part of the lawn, which can be inconvenient if you've specifically configured your watering situation. Er, obviously not an issue in the desert.
The powder is just a starch to keep the rubber material dry and not sticky. The guy got sued because he had very large investments in a rival mattress company and was spreading disinformation and biased reviews in order to hurt the company.

How did the metal garden hose and the hercules hose do in the really hot 110 degree weather? I'm next door in Arizona so heat is a concern for a metal hose.

Hey Bon Scott rocks (actually, Bon Scott does rock!) the only problem is that results from vitamins seem subjective and hard to measure. I'll keep that in mind and maybe I can figure out a way to do a proper review like that.
i think the general consensus on vitamins is: take what you need, not all. Multi-vitamins are good if you eat very little food but there are some vitamins that do harm if you go way overboard. its better to talk to your doc and buy vitamins that you think you need (or take vitamins that are known to not do harm) basically- less is more. just because a multi-vitamin has 50 things in it doesn't make it perfect for you unless you're really malnourished.

i cooked onions in mine a lot, it just randomly stained. it works but half the copper is brown now
