@outside xtra... I don't know if you all did the math, but the final standings would have been (1st) Luke, (2nd) Jane, (3rd) Ellen and (4th) Andy. Jane got 21 coins in the last game and Ellen got none. That gave Jane more coins than Ellen, but one less star. But in the awards at the end, Jane got the eventful award. Therefore, Jane tied Ellen in stars, but having more coins she stole 2nd place.
For "coin games" (specific type of mini-game) the winner gets the number of coins they scored. There are a couple of them throughout the stream that you can check to verify. :)

In Super Mario Party, the initial coins you get and price for a star are slashed in half. In the original you got 10 coins to start and 20 for a star, this is 5 coins to start and 10 for a star. However, the boards are very small so the games are quicker.
Lol who put the PIP right over where all the text and stuff comes up :D This looks better than Mario Party U- which stuffed you in to a single kart and had an entire mode locked unless you bought amibos!

I think I would play with Jane and Andy. That’s a good idea, right? Playing a friendship-eroding, high-stress, competitive game with the two members of the OX team most likely to know where to hide a body. That’s what I’d go for.
I know a lot of people complained about it when the game came out but want to say it anyway lol. I just recently had time to sit and play a whole game yesterday on very hard and came in first. So I definitely agree that this mario party is way easier than the others. This makes me want to insert coins into my N64 like it's an arcade machine just to add more tension to each match haha. It's still fun and do enjoy it but it's way too easy compared to the others.
Future collaboration: aoife, Johnny, Jane and Andy. Actually no, that could end really badly based on this stream and how Eurogamer is...well Eurogamer

But in the last game, the coins just represented points. With 22 points, Jane would be awarded the standard 8 coins for being first in the minigame.
