I am having problem with my foldscope if I want to see the microorganisms then I have to aim the lens at a flashlight but in this video you kept the lens on a table still you were able to clearly see it

You're totally right, a Foldscope won't work without illumination. I guess they were using the LED-Magnifier for this video, which can be easily attached to the backside of the Foldscope without adding too much thickness. I'm using an LED-Magnifier in nearly all of my videos!

Yes, we were using a LED-Magnifier, which attaches to the back of the Foldscope. It is included in a few kits (always make sure to read the description and contents) and you can also buy them separately foldscope.com/products/led-mangifier-kit 🤗
