I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Last month I only watched Warhammer on this channel and never saw AoE or Dune. Now I pop off whenever I see either and am so excited about a 1v1 tournament. It’s called growth
Btw, sand worms seem to not be at all learning animals. Since thumpers make the exact same sound every time and whenever they get to it, they get hooks stuck under their scales and driven somewhere by a bunch of food. Even the dumbest animals on earth would learn to not respond to thumpers call after a few times getting fooled.
"Messiah" is one of my favourites, but I still think "God Emperor" is the best in the series. I found it much more complicated than the previous titles, but it is incredible! Also, man I love those closing races. Just got the game and lost my last match with 29,7k Hegemony versus 50 CHOAM shares, it was SO close.
Atreides is looking to be my teriary faction (after Fremen and Smugglers). I feel Jessica is a an auto-include, which is a bit boring, but haven't played them enough of state that definitely. I usually go with Thufir for the extra agent traits (they add up) and for the speed operation preparation. Fun to see how this turns out for you. Also, Dune Messiah is really good imo
Depends on if you're playing MP or against the AI. I find the AI almost always accepts treaties even when capping one of your villages. I do agree that Thufir is probably the best overall thanks to the additional traits and Hasten being pretty useful until you've gotten the tech that allows you to build multiple buildings at once. Duncan Idaho is probably the second most valuable given his authority boosts. Gurney seems a little tricky to use in MP.
Lady Jessica is troll for sure, but it runs counter to the faction's overall goals because that is NOT how you want to be spending your influence. You want to get 10k hedge and start stacking that positive buff. Gives you an absolutely unmatched economy and you'll likely be in the running for governorship as well. I have best luck with a two-pronged on CHOM and governorship. The defensive buffs get to be insane and you can use their mech units as well as capital ship to save costly units and win the war of attrition. You usually can't be offensive enough to win Hedge, but you can't lose fast enough for them to stop you from getting CHOM once you have the economy. The real challenge is knowing where to spend your influence to win stacks. If you are under attack it can be worth taking an negative resolution as well for the power buff. Smugglers are always the worst to go against because they're the only ones who can really contest you in the influence gain (outside of some weirder ECAZ builds).
I think Atreides is the one faction you don't want to be playing possum with, you want to be in front so that you are getting attacked rather than being the aggressor it's the only way your military stands much of a chance from what I've seen.
ive woken up more than enough times to your videos playing in the background while my pc is locked. when i unlock it its always 2.5 hours in a 3 hour total video. this has been happening for the past half year. my pc kinda knows who the diligent youtubers are.
It kinda feels like atreideis seems like you need almost focus on defensive elite units like dwarves. Another big thing turin i kind of have been watching your games you never really focus on multiple small planes any reason? Seems like whenever you run against a foe with multiple planes they really well. Remember the duke you need desert poeer but also remeber air power!
I had good terrain that had a bottleneck for them to walk through. Home base missiles and ships do aoe damage to them clumping up. My territory had military base strength bonus while we were too far from their bases for their own bonuses. And smugs op
Idk i feel like atreides can be offensive, their early army can be pretty good in small skirmish, since you don’t need your army to capture your territory
lol the incompetent hating on WiFi. Greetings from a network engineer specifically focused on wireless networks: Stop cheaping out on your hardware and you don't get disconnects it's simple as that. When you run on one hair copper strand you won't have a proper signal either. Your bottleneck is definitely your outside connection so I am definitely not gonna make useless holes in walls when I can use RF.
I've never heard of you, never clicked on any of your videos or searched for you nor do we play the same games. However, I've given you probably 5,000 views from falling asleep with youtube on. Whatever deal you struck with the algorhythm gods seems to be very favorable for you

The Fedaykin became Paul's personal guard, but they existed before he came to Arrakis

Spice gives dementia to worms.

So excited for your Old World tabletop channel!

Game 2 was a really casual fremen victory if you just pay your taxes! 🤣
Insane second game))) You fight it for the end taked victory from ecaz hands
Kinda late with the comment, but.... Simply the best content for Dune Spice Wars. Well done, T.

The dreaded Fremen CHOAM victory was actually, sort of, one of the outcomes of Paul's crusade.
Caught a little bit of the stream. Thank you, Turin. I finally played my first MP (PC game). Dune Spice Wars is just so special to me.
**Spits on table**

Fabulous 🤩 this game is great watching

Loving your dune content - hoping for much more.
Why Smuggler army did beat yours and Ecaz with such an ease? You both have late-game army and tech, but it looked that 1 smug unit = 2 artheids
Smuggs op!

what he said!
I played the game when it came out, didn't like it at all. But watching you playing it and commenting your thoughts is so much fun!
this game looks cool. Is there a future for it? Is it popular or dying/dead? Are devs updating and releasing expansions for it?
Wow you said dzień dobry jak się masz like Polish dude. Impressive.
Is this similar to the old school dune?
Idk i feel like atreides can be offensive, their early army can be pretty good in small skirmish, since you don’t need your army to capture your territory
To do that you want to play tall and play around the macon building in your main base
But yeah in ffa teching military early is always a double edge sword
