I still want Donovan Mitchell. Yeah it's a smaller backcourt with Brunson but those 2 can get you HUGE buckets when in need. Unlike Randall who can either be the big hope or the big choke.

1 - Ainge is notoriously difficult to deal with in trades. Typically, he will demand the moon and the sun in any deal.
2 - Why on Earth would Utah deal Markkenen?

The only way that I'm personally trading grimes is if, we are trading for D. Murray. As far as trading for Jordan. Clarkson yes, I would trade for him but, I'm not trading grimes for Clarkson. I would trade, forn, a pick and maybe someone else for Clarkson. What we really need to do right now is for sure trade for D. Murray this year. More could be stated. New York strong 4life 💪 Blessings

Ya, he turns it over and dribbles too much, but you have to honestly admit that he has shown improvement in those deficiencies this season. And since getting OG in our mix (perhaps a result of Dante and Hartenstein in starter roles, too), he's looking really good out there.
Also, the guy is an excellent passing big man.
He is tough AF, gotta love that, and he often is taking on challenging defensive assignments, like the opposing teams C, and meeting that challenge effectively.
Overall, I have fallen much further into the YES camp on JR this season. I just wish other Bocker die hards would also support him this way.

Knicks fans make me laugh. They were adamant about not giving up their highly-protected (practically worthless) picks and RJ Barrett for Mitchell. Jazz fans didn't want any part of that trade, and Knicks fans thought it was too much. Now, they think they can turn Fournier, who has played a total of 30 games in the past 2 years, and a couple of picks into Dejounte Murray. The Hawks gave up three unprotected first-round picks and a pick swap for him, and he is shooting better now than he was then. They insist that Grimes, a 6-5 shooting guard that shoots UNDER 40% from the field and UNDER 75% from the line, has too much potential to trade for anything but an all-star. Jazz fans would be furious about Clarkson getting traded for someone like that.

Even tho Randle has a very team friendly contract, especially for his production. I truly think teams don’t want him.
