i know what you mean. this gae is nastoglia all over for me. I'm 23 as well so we probably have the same experiences. I abused my controls as well. The thing that got me good at it was that as a child my mom would put an 1 limit at our game time. So i did what i had to do to get good at this game; remeber it. I don't think i've beat it without dying but to you man; good job! I'm going to try and record my version of the speed run.

Yesterday my game ended here. My first one past Bagel Brothers, too. Today i was able to beat it by NOT entering Hills of Forever. Most awful thing ever. Perhaps even worse than Bloody Swamp. I think Kid Chameleon might be the best 2d plataformer from the 16-bit era. Funnier, harder and way more complex than SMW for sure.
Hey kidchameleon1 have you beat the game in one single play through before or do you use save states or what not? Regardless I am goin to beat this game someday.

this level is hard as f*ck! but brings back good memories
was kinda disappointed they didn't make this a slow murder wall level but still a worthy penultimate challenge!

i actually prefer cyclone..imagine how breezy this level would be with him

I actually think Cyclone is the best for beginners. But yeah, Skycutter is by far the best helmet.
