Simon leading Janette across the log and keeping her eyes on him was probably my favorite moment. It reminded me of Jesus helping Peter across the water and telling him to keep his eyes on Him.

4:45 I LOVE THIS AND I THINK IT'S A GREAT DETAIL. and Simon became more romantic with Jeanette when he was in his French mode, but that does not mean that he is not and this part shows it, where Simon, despite being out of the French effect, treats Jeanette in a nice way (only than something more shy). Simon was always romantic with Jeanette, only with the French effect he had the confidence that normal Simon lacked, and in this scene you can see that he is leaving his shyness behind. My favorite couple without a doubt!

In my opinion this is a great live action rated G movie when I was a little boy back in 2011 and this led me to get into that franchise. And here are my top 5 favorite live action rated G movies in my opinion. 1.Thomas And The Magic Railroad 2.Alvin and The Chipmunks the Chipwreak 3.1979 Muppet Movie 4.The Adventures of Elmo and Grouchland 5.The Adventures of Milo and Otis (Even though TATMR was low rated I really liked it so much when I watched it on DVD that included The Adventures of Elmo in Grouch Land and this led me to get into the Thomas the Tank Engine franchise.

If you read the novelization of The Squeakquel, there is a really cute Simonette moment that may have been part of the film's script but was eventually scrapped. If you recall, Alvin and Brittany had a moment with each other in the cafeteria and Theodore and Eleanor had a moment with each other at the toy drive. In the book, Jeanette finds Simon playing chess by himself and they end up having a wholesome conversation (which I won't spoil). It's interesting, in the film, Simon is outside by himself at one point with a chess board but he's instead approached by one of the jocks and that's when that whole "litter monitor" lie was concocted. It's disappointing that his encounter with Jeanette wasn't featured in the film - but it could explain why their relationship ended up being a central part of Chipwrecked. My apologies for the essay comment just seems like not a lot of people know about this 🙂
