I stayed here when they 1st opened...their beds were the MOST comfortable beds I've ever stayed in, in any LV hotel..even Bellagio... are the beds still comfy??
OMG..i just finished watched the rest of your vid.. glad to see the beds are comfy..but holy cow... their rooms are CRAZY expensive.. when we stayed..i think it was only $60 a night!!!
I am literally completely bedridden due to Lymes right now and watching your videos have kept me from falling into depression. i’m basically living vicariously through you as you visit all these wonderful places in Las Vegas. I especially appreciate how you describe all of the food experiences and different restaurants because right now I can’t eat hardly anything. Thanks for making these and keep up the good work.
Chronic pain amongst many other ailments here. I’m right there with you. We haven’t been to Vegas since Dec of 2022, and with my Mom passing in April of 2023, then having multiple PE’s last July, I’m ready to break out of this house to Vegas! Thanks Ruby! Hope you find some relief soon @lemondemon6434
One thing I took away from this place when I stayed... If price isn't a factor for you, I HIGHLY recommend staying here. You certainly get the feel that it's a high end resort. You certainly can enjoy all the amenities that Red Rock has to offer without worrying about it being overcrowded (like some strip places are). I'm shocked that Ruby didn't mention the mall across the street that has literally hundreds of shops, ranging from high end places like Prada to affordable places like Lids, and EVERYTHING in between. The shops of Summerlin is a HUGE draw to anyone looking for great shopping. Ruby is not lying about you practically never needing to leave. Between the mall and Red Rock, it does offer everything under the sun.
@@scottlauren3145 the rooms aren’t usually that high. Idk why it was that high on a Monday. We’d often get stays around 120-150, and that was in the summer…my wife’s great finding deals though.
Glad to see that you had a good experience at one of our flagship properties. I worked for the company from 2008 to 20012. I was at Red Rock during the construction and grand opening phase. In 2012 I left for another company. My mistake. I bled out my best for that company for 10 long years. I am now back at Stations in my old position. It feels so good to be back. I know the company pushes great treatment to the employees so that the guest will be rewarded as well. A model I feel a lot of companies should follow.
So based on watching your reviews: The Park MGM on strip, El Cortez on Freemont, and now Red Rock off strip are my personal favourites. Looking forward to staying at these hotels. Thanks for all the research. 😎
Great choices. I’m trying to plan a vacay for early next year with my parents (They are in their late 70s but you’d never know it) I’m down to choosing Red Rock or Park MGM. Ruby’s videos have helped me a lot over the last year or so I planning.
Yes! Just stayed for the first time and it was everything! Did a whole week in Vegas but split it up…1/2 on strip and 1/2 at RR. It was so nice to get away from crazy 🎉. Very relaxing and can’t wait to go back!
Ms Ruby, was wondering when you would get around to visiting Red Rock! I travel to Vegas 2/3 times per year and RR is my location of choice. I plan hikes at the canyon each trip. The Calico Tanks trail is an awesome, moderate level hike (wonderful view of the Vegas Valley at the summit). The spa at RR is great. I strictly play Blackjack and Poker while in the casino. Some of the best blackjack offerings in Vegas. Good rules for both DD & 6D shoe games. The poker room is a good mix of locals and tourists. A good tip - the Lucky Penny Diner offers a really nice strip steak at a fraction of the cost at T-Bones.
As a local that lives close to red rock I do love going there. The spa is wonderful, pool deck is amazing, cabana service is great and I love that you can order dole whips! We go to the red rock movie theater and bowling alley often and are big fans of side piece pizza. Sometimes I’ll stop by just to pick up a pizza.
When I visit Vegas, I stay in Summerlin. Red Rock is incredible. There are 2 Starbucks on the property! You didn't even show the chandelier. They also used to have an amazing buffet until covid wrecked everything. From here, you can drive out to the canyon easily. The views are spectacular!
You called us out for sure. We come to Vegas very frequently (still have two trips coming up for this year, numbers 4 and 5 for 2022) and we've never stayed at RR. We've seen several good channels/vlogs chronicle their stay at RR but yours is the first one that actually makes us want to finally do it ourselves! *great episode*; the Rubys have truly found their collective voice in their chosen craft
You'll love RR!!! It's a bit of a fresh air compared to the strip. Not fast past or crowded. Also, 5mins from RR on Charleston there are lots and lots of restaurants to choose from, including shops and including LV Ball Park. I'm usually there eating probably 4-5 times a month. Hope you like it!!
I got to spend several days at Red Rocks at a conference, and I LOVED the property! I had very little urge to leave the property, but there was a lot of shopping and food options not just on property but a short walk away, and the mountains were beautiful. If you didn't mind never getting to the Strip, it's fantastic.
Thank you again for the video. Very informational. I’m planning a 50th birthday and thinking of Red Rock next year. I was thinking of Cosmo but a few you tubers been having bad experiences. Red rock is definitely one of the Casinos I might try out with my family and friends.
COSMO and RR are totally different. COSMO is AWESOME if you wish to stay on the strip and COSMO will cost WAY WAY MORE. RR if you just want to relax and mingle with the locals like myself.
Ruby, Thanks for doing Red Rock .. I've never stayed overnight here. but I hung out here for about 8 hours as I went to a concert here .. I echo much of what you commented on .. I was overwhelmed with how nice this facility was plus so many amenities .. The area surrounding Red Rock is super nice and high end with multi-million dollar homes .. Felt super safe here. Like you said, it's not a place to stay for a Vegas newbie if you're looking to do touristy things as it is a long ways away from both the strip and downtown .. But if you're wanting a super nice resort to stay at and get away from the usual Vegas grind, it's a great place to go. It gets overlooked due to its remote location ..
I stayed here in June 2022 for a work conference. I have stayed on the strip but this is a different experience. It is an exceptional hotel and casino. Many restaurants. We walked across the street to shopped try different restaurants . We are dog people and we found a restaurant that allows dogs on the patio so we got to see other's dogs. We rented a car for 24 hours from the hotel and visited the beautiful Red Rock mountains. We also found a nice park to walk around and a little French brunch coffee shop near by. Def would go back.
Red Rock looks awesome. It has so much to offer. My wife and I like to do a lot on the strip so the distance might prohibit us from staying there. Loved the property and the video though! Thanks Ruby!
I recognize that robe 😜😆 One issue that was hinted at in the video: there’s one elevator bank, and it’s not central, so it can be a *LONG* walk from the elevator to your room.
I'm almost wishing I could change all my vacation plans coming up this weekend and stay at the RR instead of Park MGM. One thing I really wish you wod would consider adding is a Smoke Meter for each property. It would help sensitives like me make better choices on where to stay.
As locals, one of our favorites to head over to, even if not staying there. Plus, with Downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas Ballpark, and City National Arena within walking distance, there is plenty to do out there. I imagine we will run into you there sometime now that you're locals too!
The rooms look fantastic! I have never stayed but had dinner at the buffet a couple of times a few years back. It was not good at all. I hope the buffet quality has improved these days.

Several years ago Islands Burgers and Drinks, one of our favorite restaurants from SoCal, had a location that was basically across the street from Red Rock, so we had noticed it back then and thought, "Hmmm, that place looks nice." Thanks for the great overview, Ruby! It tipped our scales and we've booked a stay to celebrate our anniversary there in May. We're so excited to finally be giving this place a try!

One of the attractions of the "neighborhood" when you're at Red Rock is that you're right by not only by the practice ice for the Vegas Golden Nights, but also the ballpark for the Las Vegas Aviators. In fact, that ballpark might temporarily get MLB status, depending on how the relocation and/or new stadium works out for the Oakland A's.

I absolutely would, and thanking you for covering the bowling at Red Rock and South Point, I have a non drinking friend who’s a Vegas local, that gives us something to do to hang out and catch up when I visit
Local here. I'm about 10 min from Red Rock. Ruby hit just about everything. Red Rock is part of the Station group so make sure you use your boarding pass. To be honest....we pass on gambling here. Not saying the machines are tight but we never seem to win here. Walking around the floor on a Friday night and you'll see very few people winning. Another nice casino right up 215 from Red Rock is Santa Fe Station. Like Red Rock it's quite a way from the strip but that's a good thing! We do much better playing there and they have a killer steak house called the Charcoal Room. Unlike T-bones you can have a great meal and not go broke. They also have a huge theater/bowling complex, food court, restaurants and are part of the Station Casino Group. Not as high class as Red Rock but that's OK with us.
I stopped by there this past summer and had a great breakfast at the coffee shop. They had real French toast, with each slice of bread as thick as 2 fingers! Cheaper than the MGM properties, close to Red Rocks (a must visit) and I bet if you become a Station Rewards member the room rates might be lower. Any members able to report on rates?
We were just there a couple weeks ago for three nights and had a great time. The jambalaya at Yardhouse was awesome. I would venture to say better than any steak! :)
Stayed here last Dec. Looks about the same floor and view. Might have been the same exact room! lol...Only paid about 100 bucks! Blown away! We said we'd come back in the summer, but didn't make it. Probably do another winter stay. Gorgeous hotel, casino. Super friendly staff. GOTTA try for pool season there tho!
Thoughts on Red Rock Hotel & Casino?
Would you stay here?
Yes but strip first
I stayed here when they 1st opened...their beds were the MOST comfortable beds I've ever stayed in, in any LV hotel..even Bellagio... are the beds still comfy??
I'm afraid if I stayed there I'd never leave...they'd have to have a Clark County deputy come drag my ass out!! 😂

I love the Red Rock! Definitely top 3 in Vegas and super nice employees.
The sports book there is so cool!!!
With the bowling center and movie theater on property this is an excellent family resort.
What a beautiful property! Would love to spend a few days there!!!
Love this property- staying there for New Years and Super Bowl
I stay at the Suncoast for free down the way a bit and frequent the Red Rock for dinner quite often
Thanks for doing this video, it was great! Can't wait to go!!!
Hi Rubys RED ROCK IS THE BEST IMO!! Glad you showcased this 💎 ❤😎
Mr Rubys streak look SOO Good!!
I really like your review style, covering location, entertainment, eats and costs. Plus you are super cute!
We were just there a couple weeks ago for three nights and had a great time. The jambalaya at Yardhouse was awesome. I would venture to say better than any steak! :)
GREAT review, Ruby. Looks like a must try.
We always stay at the red rock, specially with teenagers, the perfect place!!!❤
I was there in Oct for a conference. Loved it.
We stay on the strip (from Denver) several times a year and try to get to Red Rock for a day, never stayed a night
Looks like a must.
