When I first heard this choir singing Dear Evan Hansen's "Waving Through A Window", I *instantly* thought that their voices would fit "Seasons of Love" perfectly and they do!
Our spring concert theme is time and place. I suggested this, remembering we have the sheet music from when the high school did it a few years back. He decided he liked that suggestion. I didn’t realize that that the parts were gonna be that high for altos. I’m lower range but I love this song
Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes Five hundred, twenty five thousand moments so dear Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets In midnights, in cups of coffee In inches, in miles In laughter, in strife In five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes How do you measure a year in a life? How about love? How about love? How about love? Measuring love Seasons of love Seasons of love Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes Five hundred, twenty five thousand journeys to plan Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes How can you measure the life of a woman or a man? In truths that she learned Or in times that he cried In bridges he burned Or the way that she died It's time now to sing out Although it's not the end To celebrate, remember a year in the life of a friend Remember the love Remember the love Remember the love Measuring the seasons of love Seasons of love
I sang this almost 3 years ago in my 6th grade chorus and I still remember all of the harmonies 😂
I did this in choir my junior year
omg same
OMG I'm doing it now 😃
Same!
I don't see any reason to complain. It's a good demonstration of what the arrangement sounds like.
Somebody to love
i'm here because our choir is doing this song for our may concert!
Same with me. May 9th.
Same, except it’s on April 18
@@GardeRegimentZuFubOfficerKaub Same here
I will teach this to my chorale group for our concert for the cause
I was supposed to perform this and a bunch of other Broadway songs for choir this year. Damn you Corona, ruining our fun!

A truly great, top notch arrangement.
Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes
Five hundred, twenty five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles
In laughter, in strife
In five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes
How do you measure a year in a life?
How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measuring love
Seasons of love
Seasons of love
Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes
Five hundred, twenty five thousand journeys to plan
Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes
How can you measure the life of a woman or a man?
In truths that she learned
Or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned
Or the way that she died
It's time now to sing out
Although it's not the end
To celebrate, remember a year in the life of a friend
Remember the love
Remember the love
Remember the love
Measuring the seasons of love
Seasons of love
Even though this arrangement isn't my favorite, at least my director actually listened to our song suggestions for our spring pieces.
I kind of wish the insanely high solo was added in as an option. It just isn’t the same without it.
you are more than welcome to add it yourself. Very common in this genre of music to add to, change, modify the original score.
Remember singing this in 6th grade
We’re doing this for our may concert in school
I'm singing the tenor part for this song in choir.
Same! My concert is next week
My annoying choir teacher actually picked good music this year; this and imagine
whats up with the weird crunching sounds between "remember the" and "love"?
They were snapping their necks.
Sami Owens LMAO
I think it may be the bass
I’m doing this song in my choir and because I can’t make it after school I missed this whole song so I don’t know the lyrics and harmonies😢😢😢
it's fine, it's mainly just missing the oomf, you should be belting those solos
do it!
Placeholder for the hard part
Beginning 0:57
End 1:19
This version is so draining is sucked the soul out of the original
They sound so dead inside hfajfahfshwrsf
I really don't see why they altered the solos so much. Just put it as a tenor solo with the A4 it's so much better!
❤❤❤
