Bathgate Band - Washington Grays

The Bathgate Band first performed at what is considered the first Bathgate Procession in 1844 where they led the children from the Old Academy to the High Church for a service. Since then the Band have participated in all subsequent Bathgate processions leading the parade from the Old Academy each year.
The Band will miss taking part in the 2020 parade and visits to Walter the Lord High Steward and Princess Marjory’s homes on the Friday evening prior to the Procession itself.
With this in mind the Band performs the March Washington Grays which was recorded in 2019 at a live concert given by the Band for the Salvation Army in Glasgow. We hope it captures the spirit and sounds of the Band on Procession day and look forward to seeing you all in 2021.
