I think Haein Lee should be on the Korean Olympic and World's team because she finished well ahead of both Young You and Yelim Kim at this international as opposed to merely domestic competition, because she finished the highest at Worlds last season for any Korean women skater, and because she has remarkably refined and fluid skating skills, engaging artistic expression, musicality, grace and sophistication with exceptional emotional engagement as well as lovely flow and transitions through her jumps. This is one of my favorite performances of the season along with Mai's skate that followed.
Aside from a tiny slip up on the stsq, everything was so beautiful. The abandonment during the last few minutes was especially breathtaking. Beautiful skating, beautiful choreography and of course the music is just perfect. It would be better if she expressed more in the first half of the program as well but i understand that she is very young and nervous. Her coach made a good call on not doing the 3A here. Haein always do better interpretation when she doesnt do any mistake in the first half so please always strive for clean program. Let the 3A solidified first then we could put it in the program
It's not easy to skate to match this kind of music, but she did really well! Everything was just beautiful. It would be a good experience for her if she tried 3A, but she got a medal without 3A. I'm just so happy about it

Korea should send her to senior worlds, not junior worlds. She and Yelim are their best shot at securing at least 2 worlds sports. Young is too inconsistent.
For Haein Lee that day is rightfully today since she placed well ahead of Young You and Yelim Kim at this competition and considering that she finished the highest of any Korean women's skater at Worlds last season she deserves to be there. Imagine saying you finished ahead of both of your team mates at the last international competition before the next major competition scheduled to take place and the selection committee decided that you were the one that didn't qualify to go. It doesn't make any sense and is even a contradiction unless the Korean skating federation decided to make this competition a deciding factor on who would go to Olympics and Worlds.

I agree. I can understand them sending Young to the Olympics though. If she lands the 3A she could be in with a shot of a medal.

She is amazing as all Koreans, but I always lack power from them. Their skating is too fairyesque.
