- Birmingham and Beverly Hills are two of many suburbs to the north-northwest of Detroit, MI. Both communities are quite pleasant to drive through. I start off along Woodward Ave (M-1) and I head into downtown Birmingham via Old Woodward and then head to the west part of the city. I then head south into Beverly Hills, MI where I finish the video where I started.
I grew up in Beverly Hills and it was fun to see the old neighborhood. Your route followed si=oe the path of my old paper rout on Evergreen and Beverly Rd. We lived i an old Tudor house on Riverside which you crossed on Norchester.
That's very cool! Thanks for watching!
Left the Detroit area in '88. Forgot how green it is. I'd move back from Phoenix but I can't take the winters. I have a parka on at 50°😂 Birmingham would be my pick. Great vid.
I'll admit that the winters here in Michigan are very rough. Winter is one time of the year where I could go south if possible. Thanks for watching!
@@scottman895 btw it was 93 today and all week. My family back there were saying it was too early for snow.
@@yankeedave That reminds me of the weather I saw in Sedona a few weeks ago. It was quite hot there. It just snowed here yesterday although it didn't stick.
Very nice---a beautiful area. A Royal Oak downtown/neighborhood tour would be cool and maybe places like Northville, Plymouth, the Grosse Pointes too....
Agreed! All of those places are great ideas for future driving tours. I'll definitely add them to the list!
I love your driving videos because I really feel like I'm there!
Thank you! The driving videos definitely give a different perspective when it comes to visiting places. Thanks for watching!
