Looks like good progress. You might want to nail some 2x4's on those temp posts to create a T before adding more weight so there is no chance of buckling.

Love the framing! Keep making cool videos. (Maybe helpful tip: slow down the panning of the camera ... it's hard on the eyes :)

I totally agree, I try to edit it out but if I talking and it flows with the video it’s hard to remove. Thanks for the support!

Nice video! I am curious on the size beam used? Possibly A36 WS 12 x 26, WS 12 x 40, WS 12 x 45? I see it was seamed at the interior wall location which makes it much easier to transport. I never even considered that!

W8x28 holding some 22' spans. They only make the beam 50' wide and in needed a 64' beam. I had no choice but to splice it.

Did I miss the cost breakdown? I'm thinking of going with SuperiorWalls for 403LF and 23 corners of basement.

I should do a cost breakdown. I have mentioned it in previous vids. Thanks for reminding me.

Do you have any issues with the I beam sitting at the corner and not in a beam pocket?

That is a beam pocket. It’s a reinforced pocket for the beam to sit in. The w8x28 is so stiff that I actually had to cut some 3/16th metal shims to raise it off the actual pocket off of the lolly columns.
