Years ago, I envisioned/dreamt/wrote a short story where the protagonist, an enslaved Black girl was tasked with playing the harp in the garden for her "owner/master." She used the sessions as resistance, taking in all the information and details he and his friends blabbed about when drunk and high, returning it to her people, eventually aiding them in a rebellion that led to their escape and freedom. I could never have in my wildest dreams envision such Black girl magic on the harp. Thank you for giving us this representation. Thanks for investing in your craft with such perfection. Thank you for the gift of healing music. My only complaint is, can you please give us more of this, in like, at least an hour long compilation, if not 8 or 10 hours. We'd love to meditate/chill/ fall asleep to this without having to rewind. Until then, UA-cam better bring back the replay/repeat button, our fingers are tired. Thank you.
