Hey Chris. Love this series idea. I think a good way for you to gain some distance would be to watch overthrows video with Evan Smith where he works on keeping his back to the target more so his arm can whip through. Well done and good luck
I'll have to check that out. I actually just had a little lesson with Ezra Robinson, he had some similar pointers as well that I will be working on in the near future.

If you ever want company I'd love to play with you sometime! I haven't tried the long tees before but your video has me motivated. 2024 is the year! Also that new hole 15 position is bad. As a predominantly forehand thrower the position is great, but it's too close to the road for sure!

Congrats! What a great round. I've never played 15 in that position, have to say not a fan. Seems way too dangerous with the road right there, and park is pretty busy, particularly on weekends.
Yeah, it is definitely a questionable decision. If you want to challenge yourself a bit at Chattahoochee without going all in on the longs, there is an Intermediate Layout on Udisc that another viewer let me know about. It is truly the play, I really enjoy that layout.
Sorry if this has been answered previously, but curious what software you use to edit? And are you pretty much just using the Sony a7iv on a tripod for these videos or do you switch it up with the other ones? Speaking more about this style of video in particular. Love your channel and what you are creating, thank you for sharing your journey with us!
I edit with Premiere Pro. All of my videos are shot with the Sony a74 in HLG over-exposed by one stop. In Premiere, I have a LUT that I will apply to color-correct (I started with the Leeming LUT for the a74, but tweaked it a bit). Solo videos like this, I am using a tripod and will zoom in post.
I hated how the teepad for hole 15 looks like it doesn't even point to the basket. But yeah I hate shots that are ruined by trying not to ruin someone's day. Even is not bad. This is fun. I may try something like this. We don't have a lot of courses like this though, but hey maybe I'll find one.
The normal two pin positions are off to the left, the current location wasn't one of the original designs. I really don't know why they put the pin where it is now, strange decision.
Yeah, I thought it was a really nice hole design, treating it as a sort of peninsula green. Also, the little tree in front of the short tee no longer becomes a factor to consider, which I think makes the shot less interesting now as well.
You're definitely one of the most enjoyable content creators to watch. A really genuine guy. Keep grinding!

That's true. I'm worried about it as a predominantly backhand player, I didn't even think how much harder it is for forehands.

Don’t really enjoy the new position on 15…I liked the old one where it was kind of like an island after heavy rain
