Consider this: we create a human-made mycorrhizal network consisting of apps to ENSURE safe housing, clean water, healthy food, quality education, and full health care for EVERYONE, with a community builder simulator to plan future development to be in harmony with the Earth and with each other, and with a system of coming to the most logical and ethical solutions quickly. So kids and adults could earn a living wage from a place where they feel safe and loved, working towards an ensured basic standard of living for everyone, while achieving self actualization in the process.

Easy fix, delete the Tenancy Protection Act and disband the landlord-tenant board for all provinces. Overnight, developers will start building new housing. As long as that corrupt left-wing bureaucracy makes life hell for owners, you can't expect them to want to provide housing to people. Less competition equals higher prices.
