Kelly, I'm in my fifties, I have a bunch of dumbbells and a weight bench in my house, I get lots of good ideas from UA-cam videos and write them down so I have a routine. I do go to the gym to do machines 2 to 3 days a week. I feel so much better. We are getting older and we need to do this. I hope you keep it up !

So, should I try and hit them all in one session a few times a week? Or choose two workouts a day for 5 days out of the week and leave the remaining 2 left in the week for resting?
The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
Well, I have a bench and dumbells. So I'm going for buff (again, so long ago!) at the age of 65!!! Wish me luck, it starts....now!

I just bought a new incline bench from Dick's Sporting Goods and I set it up today. Now I can do workouts I couldn't do before. I'm happy to have it.

worked out for the first time in 10 years yesterday did 30 reps of 30lbs of those tricep workouts with the dumbbells my arms are feeling sore today

I know very little but ima try and do one part only each day like Mon chest, Tues legs, rest Wed, Thurs back, Fri arms, rest sat and Sun lol
