As always thank you for watching!
Wow! What a great victory! You really kicked some Hackman's butt! Thank you for this playthrough. I had a really good time watching it.
Thanks so much for watching!! It was a fun one for sure. Every game I have played has been so dang enjoyable!!
One Stop Co-op Shop I totally agree with you. Ricky has made a great game!
Nicely done Colin. Thank you for your play-through (again!). at 22:00 you could have installed a Propagator for 1 more point :)
REALLY!? Shoot hate when I miss the obvious, oh well! Just happy to take out that Hackman! Didn't think there was a chance when I just got rid of the Neural Hub ha!
well done Colin and thanx for this great play-through.
Thanks Franck for watching!
One small correction: when your Avatar is pushed out of a partition (by a firewall or the Hackman) you can't choose where to move. You roll the partition die and have to move there.
Yeh, Colin you made it a little easier there: when your avatar is evicted, you have to roll both server and partition dice to see where your avatars gets popped to. But hey, it was a good run all the same! :)
You roll BOTH the partition AND server die?? That could be brutal. . . I don't know how I missed that I apologize. I will put up a subtitle. And here I was thinking I was ready for Mother. . . .Maybe not now as I cheated!
Oh wow I hadn't realise that the Hackman actually teleports you randomly all the way around the network! Much more challenging then!
Heck yeah!!
With that final red command you could have installed a Propagator for 1 extra VP, bringing you that much closer to 100. Nice run :)
Bummer! Oh well still a great bit of fun!
Well played round. You are more than ready to take on Mother and get into the Fragmented Server games.
This video showed me that I was playing Hackman all wrong. So thanks for that clarification.
I'm also the same way with objectives.. I always put an emphasis on beating them. Feels wrong to ignore them. If i don't best at least 2/3 i don't consider it a victory.
Totally agree, the objectives give the game a purpose and even if you don't lose the win can feel . . . empty if you failed more than 2 of the objectives. Thanks so much for watching! And yes I had to look up the Hackman as at first I thought it deleted EVERYTHING and it was going to be an insane fight!
for me it was not realizing that the only way to delete it is remotely from a neural hub - because obviously it's a firewall and it boots you out of your space.
I love how we all misinterpret something in a game. But what matters ultimately is we are having fun. Good luck when you do encounter the Hackman!!
Couldn't agree with you fellas more! The objectives are much more compelling than trying to score points, and trying to do it before sparks/guardians overrun the board provides a time factor which creates an enjoyable tension. I play that you have to beat the gold objective and are allowed only one failure prior
I can't believe I had missed that LP thinking I had already seen it. And lucky for me, I finally got my KS copy last Friday after many delivery issue (big up to Victory Point Game !)
So glad you got it and please enjoy!!! Great to hear from you as well Franck!
Great win Colin, I think I've been lucky so far and not had to face Hackman. I didn't really think you would beat him. Can't wait to see you try on fragmented servers. I've yet to see a playthrough on them.
Fragmented Servers!!! Great idea, I do want to try that. Have you tried it yet?
I haven't had the nerve to yet, not sure I can wrap my brain round it lol
Ricky said it is the hardest variant for the game!! Makes me want to try it. . .
I think it would be much, much harder to plan ahead and track where problem spots might happen and to predict where all the sparks are going to end up.
Absolutely, and trying to track down where your server is located even as you are all over the board! Sounds so cool though!
When the hackman teleports he actually destroys all contaminants. So its even more brutal... Not a fan of the hackman at all.
Yeah brutal!!
