LumberJacking with Jim. Learn how to utilize those old junkers you have laying around the property lol. Gotta love Jimbo and his no nonsense lifestyle. The star showed up Mr. Louie . 👍🇨🇦
Jim, I cut and burned a LOT of firewood. I came up with a way to cut logs that worked very well. I used a log about 1 foot in diameter and nailed 4- 2"X4"s about 2 feet long in a row, spaced apart to cut my firewood in between on it to hold it from moving. Then nailed upright 2"X4"s about 5 feet tall at each 2 footer. Then I picked up each log and placed it into my "jig" until it was holding 6 or 8 logs. Start my chainsaw and make one continuous cut down through all of the logs stacked in the jig. My stove was 26" deep so I cut all my logs at 25''. I really reduced the effort I had to put into cutting and I was always standing not bending over. It was safer/ no kicking back and quicker too. ben/ michigan
Happy to see you jimbo looks like you been busy have not seen any new videos this was good ok friend take care it was good to see you got lots of fire wood for winter time
Nice to see your day, Jim. Love your solar kiln to dry your lumber and thats quite a spider you got there. Too bad your Elm perished; you'll have lots more wood next winter. Thank You for sharing your work.
Hi Jim cut down all the birch trees around your garage and your house! Cut down all trees and busches ! Remove trees and bushes and the foundation will dry up by the garage and the house and you will avoid moisture in the garage and the house . And you vill have more firewood for the vinter!Just a friendly suggestion from Sweden😊❤
Like everyone Jim, I miss your video,s and seeing your day to day activiyies!! I know you are a private person but celebrities must keep thier fans up to date sir!!!! Cheers, Bernie
im doing the firewood thing too. have about 15 face cord split and stacked so far. Gotta love that wood heat and gas is soo expensive when you are on fixed income
Is your house insulated good? Do you shut down rooms you don't use so you don't have to bring so much would teeth whole house. Is your plumbing well insulated. The one do you have open for your cat can you put in a type of little door that opens and closes to keep the heat in and teach him how to use it wholesome food on the other side of it where he can see it to come in. And open it manually so he sees how it works. Can I get a clear one so he can see you inside and want to come in.😊
