There's a history, they came from different places and Manipuri king welcomed them and gave them lands and meitei woman to marry. They helped us during many battles and fought for the land alongside with us against invaders. That's why they are called "Pangals" which means Strength and they are the Child of Meitei Women so they got the name Meitei-Pangal.😊
