Been following your gold guide that I purchased and I am sitting on 95 gold already at level 24 (hunter) and got Leatherworking, Engineering, Fishing, Cooking and First Aid at 225! (to go to 300 I need to be physically level 35)! So far the Deviate Scale Belts sell like hotcakes, the Deviate fish (uncooked) and Dragonbreath Chili made lots of my income! Even with engineering the advanced target dummies made me lots of gold!
There’s always a few of these videos when fresh servers drop. Your claim that “that’s how much a lvl 60 mage will make” is honestly hilarious. Its an okay farm, but it’s not the best
@chocrikir655 im not saying people don't do it, but more people will. The water nodes in particular are rough with a lot of competition. Its not big deal im mostly joking.
I bought a shit load of high tier blues every time I got a few gold, they have gone up a couple times now. When I hit 40 I'm going to sell them all and get my mount.
Focusing on making gold before lvl 60 is a mistake. As a lvl 60 you will get gold much faster than at lower levels. You will make more gold by doing quests at 60 than by fishing at 20 :)
I would argue against that. The purchasing power of gold is deflating every day and prices of valuable items go up every day. Someone with limited playtime is very much better off farming gold while leveling and investing that gold. For example, lets say getting to 60 takes you 150 hrs. If you can play an average of 2hrs/day, thats 75 days. What will the price of Swiftthistle & Grave Moss be in 75 days, u think? Someone making 20g/hr while lvling can currently buy Swiftthistles for 5 silver each. They are likely to go to 50+ Silver each in a few weeks/months. Based on this, that 20g/hr is equivalent to 200g/hr later. It's only NOT worth it if you just sit on the gold and do nothing with it.
@@SolheimGaming ps. fishing gives no experience, so if you are fishing you are not making gold why leveling. You are just making gold :P so that 150 hrs you mentioned spreads into infinity.
Let me answer your comments one at a time: "Someone with limited playtime will miss Molten Core if they spend time farming gold at 20 :)" In my original response to you, I highlighted someone playing 2hrs/day and hitting 60 after 75 days. They are already missing Molten Core. Also, why is that relevant? The question here was making gold while leveling vs making gold at lvl 60, GDKP is not a thing, and the materials from MC will be used by Guildbanks / rolled out over 40 people. For goldmaking, this was a completely irrelevant response. "ps. fishing gives no experience, so if you are fishing you are not making gold why leveling. You are just making gold :P so that 150 hrs you mentioned spreads into infinity." I feel like I gave you a very detailed answer why Fishing for 20g/hr right now could be a very good idea, using inflation as an arguement. This response seems like a "haha gotcha" attempt, trying to highlight that fishing gives no experience, like I'm a total noob and don't already know that. You can, for example, quest for 2 hrs -> fish for 1 hr -> quest for 2 hrs -> fish for 1 hr, and by doing this, you ARE making gold, WHILE you are on your leveling journey, aka making gold while leveling. Once again I feel like my original response to your comment was very detailed, using actual examples of what has happened in the past with inflation, and I don't feel like your further comments really did anything here other than highlight the fact that YOU don't want to make gold while leveling and you would rather hit 60 fast, which is completely fine.
@@SolheimGaming My point is, that your goldmaking advice is mechanically correct - it would work in theory, sure. But it's very impractical. Do you actually believe a player with limited playtime would put hours into fishing instead of just playing the game? And then that they would invest all the money they get from the hours of fishing in AH items which would give them profit in few months instead of for example buying a mount at lvl 40? Goldmaking is a minigame for people who have unlimited play time. Not something that should be recommended to new or casual players.
