I really appreciate their efforts to pull off the high note, being the leftover group really has that impact of friendship and teamwork. They did great, congrats to the trainees! tho it fascinates me still how Fiesta and other izone songs only belongs to izone, a song that will only sound the best with their voices in short, I miss them and I need my daily therapy again.

Yeah, Mnet is really cruel for doing this to them, but as a professional singer one day they will be, it is also kinda neccessary. Two teams of vocalist is basically just fighting with each other with high notes.
If Miyu is practicing a high note just out of her range non-stop for days straight, then ofc her throat will get strained. I'm actually really disappointed in the mentors here because imo (even though this is a competition) they should have known this could potentially happen and intervened by rehearsal. This is how singers mess up their voices and she's only a trainee. The pros should have used their expertise to preserve her voice (and in turn the final performance). They could have done this by telling her to only use falsetto or by telling her to drop adlibs. Pros wouldn't let a trainee dance to the point of pulling a muscle so why would they let a trainee sing till their throat is raw? It's upsetting and dangerous.
@@Maria-up4tl I was thinking something similar. My jaw is still on the floor with the "that sounded annoying" comment; there's a lack of critical feedback and just lots of unnecessary jabs. If a trainee is off pitch there are so many productive ways to explain how and why they are not hitting the note, but the mentors seem to just opt for pointing out "you're off pitch" with 0 help on how to improve other than "focus harder".
ikr there was no constructive criticism or help from mentors and the other vocals in her group were actually not bad, but I felt that they didn’t rly offer help cause her high notes didn’t seem to change throughout sigh
The mentors on Produce 48 are way better than these so called "masters" on GP999. Yeah the pd48 mentors are way harsher, but atleast they actually helped the trainees.
this i’m off putting about the lack of advice they are giving, they had a chance in the mid evaluation to give miyu some advice to sing with a better technique
Also I don’t know if it’s just MNet’s editing but I feel like the mentors focused so much on little mistakes that they forget to praise the team for their overall performance like with HYLT Team 1; they commented how the team lost focus after CaiBing’s mistake which in my opinion, wasn’t really the case. I feel like their team really did well. I feel so bad for Xioting too, she did a small mistake that doesn’t really affect the team much, but they made her feel like she ruined the whole thing. I watched her fancam, and the girl slayed the performance especially during the dance break. In Produce48, they really did guide the trainees, teaching them vocal techniques and giving them advices; but in GP999, they only say their opinions then expect the trainees to just deal with it on their own. I hope in the next round we see them actually helping the trainees learn and improve.

There are some and it was noticeable. But they are too shy. The mentors should have pep talk them and stop playing safe. This is the reason why they failed. Because they're far into their shells.

They don't even try to mentor what should this team do or don't, and am very disappointed. We all knew that team 1 is gonna win and they deserve it! but WTF MNET!!! team 2 screen time is just heartbreaking!! Like they did not show mid evaluation, masters comments, or any good thing! it’s not like all of the team did bad!! Jimin, yubin, and bahiyyih did sooooo well! This is really unjustifiable and I am not saying this because i’ve a few picks in this team but because its really unfair! Like mnet if you are doing this to kick a specific contestant out of the program you shouldn’t have accepted her in the first place or at least don’t drag the other girls with her! some will come at me for what i’ve said but honestly it’s the only thing that justifies the treatment team 2 received! I’ve watched all of mnet survival shows and this is the only time i see them treating one of their most popular trainees this way!
I agree. Other teams' struggle story screentime were more than this team's entire screentime. It was a really biased behavior from mnet. They didn't even show their interim check either. I'm dissapointed in masters too. They know better that this team was left out girls and they didn't even have a choice to select a song. These girls struggled the most but masters didn't even praise the girls who did better atleast, or they did bt mnet decided to edit it out. They should acknowledge miyu's efforts for doing the main vocal part even though she isn't a main vocal. I'm sad to see them criticize her instead.

Also, it's obvious that msnake doesn't want hiyyih on the debut lineup, she doesn't have screentime although she's one of the most popular one. They didn't even show much from this group's practices, obviously, the judges made some good remarks on some of them but they must've cut it out. They even made it look like team 1 were the underdogs and the least expected to win with all that back story

One of the biggest mistakes some singers do, especially inexperienced ones, is practicing to the point where their chords can’t take it any more especially when they are practicing using wrong methods. They were literally like “her voice is not in a good condition” but who’s fault is that?!
I have high respect for Miyu. No one in her group wanted to be Main Vocalist, so she did it. I could see her effort. Also, Fiesta's main vocal parts were more difficult than any other song on the Connect Mission.
The guy with glasses always criticizes and does the same exact face when something bad happens (😬) He’s a mentor but doesn’t give ANY advice to the girls and just tells them to have more confidence as if that’s going to help a sore throat. They should’ve at least told her to not sing the high note until the day of the performance 🙄

I agree with some of the comments here on why Mnet didn't show the interim check for FIESTA Team 2 in Episode 4. Not sure if Miyu's throat was already sore and strained by the time of the interim check, but watching the interim check for Pretty U and The Eve teams where the Masters suggested parts to be switched, one would think that the Masters would intervene and suggest that the FIESTA main vocal be changed to say Yubin or Bahiyyah whose vocals were more stable/solid. I think changing after stage rehearsals would have been too late. In the end, Miyu gave her best and can hold her head up high, no regrets. Now, if only she can be rewarded for her courage with enough votes for her cell to survive to the next round.

Also, it's obvious that msnake doesn't want hiyyih on the debut lineup, she doesn't have screentime although she's one of the most popular one. They didn't even show much from this group's practices, obviously, the judges made some good remarks on some of them but they must've cut it out. They even made it look like team 1 were the underdogs and the least expected to win with all that back story
@@xgyuuu Yeah and not only that they could’ve warned miyu about straining her voice! One of the biggest mistakes some singers do, especially inexperienced ones, is practicing to the point where their chords can’t take it any more especially when they are practicing using wrong methods. They were literally like “her voice is not in a good condition” but who’s fault is that?!
I have high respect for Miyu. No one in her group wanted to be Main Vocalist, so she did it. I could see her effort.
Also, Fiesta's main vocal parts were more difficult than any other song on the Connect Mission.
The guy with glasses always criticizes and does the same exact face when something bad happens (😬) He’s a mentor but doesn’t give ANY advice to the girls and just tells them to have more confidence as if that’s going to help a sore throat. They should’ve at least told her to not sing the high note until the day of the performance 🙄
I really respect Miyu for trying. I hope she has all the support. And the Masters....I don't know what to say🤐 like dude, you're supposed to give them advise..

I agree with some of the comments here on why Mnet didn't show the interim check for FIESTA Team 2 in Episode 4. Not sure if Miyu's throat was already sore and strained by the time of the interim check, but watching the interim check for Pretty U and The Eve teams where the Masters suggested parts to be switched, one would think that the Masters would intervene and suggest that the FIESTA main vocal be changed to say Yubin or Bahiyyah whose vocals were more stable/solid. I think changing after stage rehearsals would have been too late. In the end, Miyu gave her best and can hold her head up high, no regrets. Now, if only she can be rewarded for her courage with enough votes for her cell to survive to the next round.
It's okay Miyu, at least you tried your very best! I appreciate your strength and the way you accept that part. It must have been so hard! Keep working firmly.

the “mentors” should be ashamed of themselves. in no way should a trainee be suffering from damaged vocals on a survival show with trained singers who are supposed to guide her. and to have the audacity to say that her trying to hit that high note was “frustrating.” utterly useless these people are
Plus I don't think i've ever see them mentor any of the girls just like in Produce. All of them are just acting like judges. They keep on reacting badly when someone's voice cracked when they didn't even teach them anything. Useless mentors
