Miguel O'Hara, an engineer of Irish and Mexican descent, was born after his mother Conchata had an affair with her husband's boss Tyler Stone, though grew up believing his stepfather was also his biological father.[citation needed] As an adult, he worked for Alchemax. He was less than pleased at the corporation's vast control over the city. A genius in the field of genetics, he was being pressured by Tyler Stone to test a process to imprint genetic codes into human physiology. He reluctantly tried the process on a test subject named Mr. Sims. It was a failure - Sims was transformed into a hideous creature and quickly died.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a 2023 American computer-animated superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales / Spider-Man, produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel Entertainment, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. The sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), it is set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the Spider-Verse. The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson (in Dos Santos and Thompson's feature directorial debuts), from a screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller (who both also produce) and David Callaham. Perfectly captures Miguel. He isn’t the villain. He doesn’t want to be cruel. He has to be to ensure the safety of everyone else based off of what he knows. He actually cares about Miles. He doesn’t want him to go through what he went through.

Only, Miguel doesn't know the damage he's doing, telling Miles that he'll never belong or that he's not a Spider-Man, sowing guilt because he shouldn't have been bitten by the spider.
Miguel is not evil, he is evil just trying to avoid something inevitable because Miles is so determined to save those he loves. Miguel just wants to spare him that deep ache of guilt he has in his days.
You can argue everything BUT the fact he cares for Miles. He doesn't in any form care about Miles...You do NOT get to care or pretend you care about someone you consider a Cosmic Mistake that shouldn't exist. He literally said it Miles belongs No Where in his eyes! Also Miguel is literally a stand-in for Racists and Comic Book Purists that don't want Miles to exist in the first place. You're ignoring the second Miles said he won't follow the algorithm is the second Miguel is 100% hostile to him and couldn't careless about if Miles lives or dies and in no shape or form will try to reason it out with anyone it's his way or nothing. Which wasn't the agreed upon plan they were just supposed to talk things out.
You can argue he cares about the Multiverse...You'd be wrong. If he truly cared he never would've stayed and ended the existence of that alternate version of 2099 AD. He would realize that Canon Events as he believes them to be don't exist at all there's hundreds of stable realities that contradict them including 1610-B and 42 he already knows about. He's invalidating the very existence of Choice and Free Will that creates the different realities in the first place. But okay we could overlook all of the logical fallacies he's dealing with while playing god breaking the very purpose of Spider-Man and Space-Time...We can pretend he's morally good sure that he's just seeking to save everything minus the people he's willing to sacrifice to do so which includes Miles and his father. Once someone just questions his methods them as well.
No buddy you're coping hard...Miguel is literally an Evil/Insane Variant. I can even tell you why...To resurrect his daughter and he's a Prowler too. He and "his" daughter are from the two Miles's Futures not Peter's. His daughter can't exist as long as Jeff lives. His daughter can't exist if Miles is a Spider-Man that saves everyone in the present because it alters the future into something better for him and others but ensures that the future for Miguel and "his" daughter never exists. You can't save everyone is quite literal. Time is Relative there is no beginning, middle and end it's a closed loop meant to be broken.
The major indications he's lying...Is Gwen thinks she's the only living Gwen, The Live Actions aren't physically present and even one of them condemned, Not a single other Variant of Miles is allowed to join. That alone is what tells us the Spider-Society's leader is Evil and Manipulative. He stacked the deck to ensure Gwen and Miles are alone and believe they're alone. Wait until you see what the alternate reality versions of Gwen do...What they believe in. Gwen is herself an Anomaly from the start...It's actually either Miguel or Gwen that are the Original Anomalies. Miguel, Gwen, Both Miles's and Mayday are all Anomalies to list who are the Spiders that shouldn't be but are.

He's not a Villain. Given the facts he knows he's still the Hero...Albeit a Dark and Aggressive one (that Batman and Punisher are praised for). Granted I do think at the end of the day his methods are wrong and he's thinking like a complete asshole but his intentions are ultimately noble. He doesn't need to be condemned he needs a redemption arc.

@@johnathancain3700 Yes Punisher is an Anti-Hero and so is Miguel. While Batman is a Dark Hero. While Miles is a True Hero who may or may not be misguided (actually Anti-Hero works for him too). While Miles 42 is a Vigilante...Who will either be an Anti-Hero or Anti-Villain or Dark Hero depending on what methods he employs. It's all some kind of shade of grey.
By the way Gwen is Pure Grey at the beginning and True Hero by the end. Showing people can indeed change for the better.
