I'd love to go to more unusual places and venues for comps. There was a comp this year in tiny Liechtenstein and there was no competitor representing Liechtenstein at this comp (there was one in the past though).

Immediately after watching this video, I immediately remembered that there were some competitions competitions that took place on cruises. And if I'm not mistaken, some of those cruises might have traveled between countries.
Fun fact: Yiheng Wang did set the 4.48 world record average on a cruise boat competition.
