A galaxy cluster is a collection of hundreds to thousands of galaxies-a "city" of galaxies. Similar to our human cities, these cities of galaxies are busy, vibrant places with lots of activity. As the crossroads where galaxies interact, these cities provide us with important insights into many fundamental astrophysical processes. They also hold a hidden secret: There is more in them that what we can see. Join Dr. Montes as she visits the cosmic metropolis and unveils the hidden mysteries in clusters of galaxies.

It would probably have more viewers if they showed a lot more pictures and videos of space while they talked instead of having to look at their mugs 95% of these videos.

On JWST. Please let us put an end to hyperbole, quit the foresasting, and allow our planned works to begin. We should just sit back and let the machine do its job. Take what it offers and apply our highest level of science and technology protocols. In due time the Theorist will have enough data sets to begin making predictions that can then get to the experimental labs for fleshing out. Get to the pure discovery that this mission will offer as nature delivers it.

She said the gas is ten times the amount of matter that is in the stars. It is more correct to say that there is ten times more gas that we can see compared to the amount of stars we can see. From these distances we would only see the brightest parts of the gas and star population. We have no reason to expect to see gas very easily under most circumstances. Dim stars that have been nearby all along are still being found. We have every reason to expect there to be a great deal more normal matter in these distant clusters than matter bright enough for us to see it. Wouldn't it be better science to say the gravity is likely coming from matter we don't have the technology to see yet, rather than making a positive assertion that dark matter is an explanation?
