If you’re going tank, Grasp would be a better option for sustain. You heal up while the shield keeps shielding. And with Titanic Hydra, going Conq wouldn’t do much since Titanic Hydra already helps alot with your damage already
yes, but akali can't really proc grasp consistently in the early laning phase without losing more HP, it'll only shine once you've stacked up some HP i use conq to make up for the lack of AP in the early to still dominate the laning and snowball, once you got hydra, the conq is still useful for extra skill damage and a little healing there's really no "better" build, it just depends on your playstyle, whether you want to play it safe with grasp, or still play aggresively with conq
yes, but only if you able to proc it easily, you'll most likely lose more hp trying to proc it in the laning phase than it's worth imo, so it's depends on your laning opponent i choose conqueror so i can still play aggresively in the laning phase and snowball despite not having any ap items both works, just use any that more suitable to your playstyle
Tank akali was very good a few years ago in league pc. You would start sun fire and the idea was to just stick on opponents infinitely. Imagine how much damage you have with sun fire

As an OTP Akali it was weird seeing it at first but actually it looks very nice, mostly for her passive AA, add like a Liche Bane to the heartsteel and Hydra that should make everyone go from a 100 to almost 0, i might try that when i play 🤣
yeah, hs and hydra complement each other perfectly, the cooldown is pretty short too and you don't have to cast a spell first to proc it, unlike Sheen from Lich Bane, not to mention that those items give her insane survivability too, and some AD from hydra for your skill's scaling
the latency experience differ depending on the network, so 50ms here might feels like 150-200ms for some people but yeah, to play competitively, you'd want to get as lower ping as you can
Its a similar build as i watch from other video that making teemo tank. Its probably works on mage build champs like Akali, Gwen, Teemo, etc. The first time ive seen this was Tank Gwen ingame. Not only she tank but she kept healing everytime she attack someone even fiora cant handle her so Fiora gapped like 0/5 probably.

The game now is basically everyone who can use heartsteel + hydra/projector win. Not a bad thing, Galio, Gragas and Gwen might be good picks this patch.
exactly, but it really killed the fun, most champs isn't really playable since the only reliable tank killer item is BotRK, everything else is just too slow to handle heartsteel
I tried a lot not to give up on WR, but the current state of the game is just impossible to play, cool video tho, i think the new items like Eclipse and SS are broken as hell, and unfortunately give too much power for bruisers, tanks don't have much chance on this update except maybe for mundo and volibear.
yeah, it's still and been in a pretty bad shape for a long time personally, i think those two items are kinda mediocre and situational, there's lots of other items i'd rather use than two of them that give better stats or passive, and it didn't really do anything about this tank meta, 6% hp each 6 seconds from eclipse is nothing, and the shield is okay at best, as for ss the healing is pretty nice if you can hit lots of target, while the guaranteed crit only benefitted few champs for example, nasus is one of the best ss holder, since his passive increase his base skill's damage, so he'll hit pretty hard with the guaranteed crit, and he has no trouble switching target to deal crit / heal from them, but the ss passive won't work on any bonus damage modifier, and only amplify base damage, so for example, for someone like aatrox, the guaranteed crit will only calculate his base atk which is pretty low compared to his passive's bonus damage that won't crit, so if you're doing 800 damage when the passive is full, the crit from ss will only take it as far as 900 so it's only good for the healing, the damage only benefit champs with high "base" damage which isn't that many, for most champs the guaranteed crit won't do them any better than other items in term of damage, since the base crit dmg is lower than normal, honestly i can't really see that many champs i would like to use any of those two items, unless they added something to the base stats or buff it / the unique skill

i mean, it's still give you higher latency and delay compared to those who are playing natively from that server, so it's still an disadvantage nonetheless

it's just the trade and priority, you can see in all of my past akali's vid that you'd want to cast the 1st skill at the outer range whenever possible to go for the kill, but in here i focused on getting closer to the enemy to proc and gather heartsteel stacks (since normal akali playstyle needs you to get away from them to proc her passive, which will reset the heartsteel countdown) so, basically you just focus on getting as much stacks as possible whenever possible, unless if you're trying to go for the kill (need to know whether you have enough damage or not)

It kinda is a necessary for a lot of ap melee champs like Galio, Maokai, Mordekaizer, Gragas etc, I just hope that they won't nerf it too hard
