For example stay wide awake, if it wasn’t for that accent his second verse wouldn’t have literally every word rhyming. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did that with most of his songs in that album. Overall relapse wasn’t as bad as people say or thought it was.

Relapse was always considered among his worst in the past with the accents and now people give it praise. He's always said that was his worst, his lowest (behind Encore of course), but do you think he may finally be recognizing that behind the "bad" accents, Relapse was amazing in lyricism, energy, and style? And that the accents are what made it stand out among other rappers of the time? Maybe he finally has found his pride in Relapse and recognizes how amazing that album is.

Au jou is a type of beef gravy so in other words beef juice lol. The only battle he lost was to juice and he says when he sounded like nas “live at the bbq” which when you beef with someone you’re grilling them lyrically and what do you do with beef at a bbq? Now he has the juice(the power/control) so he sayin he wouldn’t beef if Au Jou(I was you). There’s so much in that set of bars it’s insane! That battle with juice wasn't fair. Em talks about it in a interview from back in the day. He explains it and said that you had to Rap against everyone that was in the battle and the last 2 are supposed to battle for the win, but when he got to the end they brought Juice out from behind the stage and he had to battle him. He says it wasn't fair because Juice didn't battle all the other contenders to get to the final he just got put there, and Em said that after he battled all those people he had used up a lot of his material that he couldn't reuse it on Juice, and Juice didn't battle anyone else so he had more material to work with. Don't forget back in the Day Battle rap was different than it is today, back than they didn't know who they were going to battle against so mostly everything was off the top of the head.
