Oh man, is there really a Pershing in Squad 44 now? My vacation needs to end haha. Nice tanking with a good tank crew looks like you guys had a lot of fun.
You want to pen tiger from the front with m4 short barrel, you MUST be at a 90-degree angle and pretty close. Load apcbc aim for tiger upper hull and or the corners for ez ammo rack.
I don't know, Allied tanks are still way too strong and can take several shots from an 88 without a scratch. The new vehicles are cool but the performance is really bad. They never learn. If I'm honest, if I would be a completely new player and bought the game on sale now, I would maybe play it for an hour or two and then uninstall it. It ran so well and now I have 40-50 fps again!
And the game was in a really good state before the update, it ran very well, but I think they'll fix it quickly. They've already released a hotfix, but the performance is still significantly worse, I can confirm
@@gizmofilms7632 Anyone who has been playing Post Scriptum for a while knows that the performance goes downhill after every big update, that's completely normal :D
Yes, unfortunately. I've noticed that I've gotten very used to high frame rates, so in Squad 44 I need at least 80 fps all the time, anything below is just painful for me and then I can't hit anything anymore :D
Great gameplay as always Tiger but you have to lower the graphics with rtx 4090? Damn! They really need to fix the performance again! Otherwise all the new players will leave the game quickly!
Well its been 2 weeks now, still not big improvement on the performance. But thats the post scriptum way. I do feel bad for players with older computers because even with a 4080 it dips under 50 at times
Two hits from the Tiger's 88mm square into the Sherman's glacis at less than 50m range, zero damage. And that's why I don't play this allied-bent arcade POS.
Well, if we want to be realistic, most Tigers didn't do so well in the Western Front due to logistical and reliability issues. Since we can't simulate that in Squad 44, the best way is to either remove them from the game or make the Allied tanks better. In a real war, most Shermans died to AT guns and mines, so Squad 44 is already unrealistic in the first place, with Shermans fighting more Tigers than it ever did in real life. The Tigers were only ever useful in the Eastern Front, German tankers were also outmatched and defeated easily in the North Africa and Italian Campaign. They did even worse in the Western Front.
@@johncarl5505 There's really no way to calculate tank vs tank KD ratios on the western front (including Afrika and Italy), though the period concept of "five Shermans needed for one Tiger or Panther" must have come from something tangible. I don't think many people who know the history would argue however that without allied air superiority (and sheer volume of planes) the allied tank forces in the ETO would have been stuffed.
@Panzerlang You can estimate their equipment losses based on their casualties. The Nazis suffered more casualties in all theaters of war than the Allies, except the Eastern Front, but even then, they were barely more effective against the Soviets. Finland had better results against the Soviets even with inferior weaponry. By 1943, a lot of the Luftwaffe was destroyed over North Africa and Italy, which is why the Allies had complete air superiority in the Western Front. The same could be said for the Kriegsmarine as well, since they were being massacred in the Atlantic. The Heer was the only thing left, and they were barely surviving, which quickened the Allies' journey to Berlin. If the US wasn't at war with Japan at the time and all those resources used in building thousands of warships were sent into the war effort in the Atlantic, North Africa and Italy, the Western Front would probably started in 1942.
@Panzerlang The US didn't need multiple Shermans for one Panther or Tiger. They just had a lot more of them, so it looks like they sent multiple Shermans for one Panzer, even if it was a Panzer IV. What really matters is positioning, since the first tank to spot the other usually wins. A Sherman has killed a Jagdtiger with a shot to the side, so all Nazi heavy tanks only have a frontal armor advantage, while Shermans have a movement advantage. A lot of Allies' tank kills against the Nazis were with AT guns actually, mainly the 57mm AT gun, which could still beat a German heavy tank with a shot to the side. Even a bazooka was able to kill a Jagdtiger.
@@johncarl5505 Yeah, try killing a Sherman with a Shrek in S44. The bazooka was weak AND very unreliable in RL and I'm not aware it killed anything more than a P4 (that I've read). It's all beside the point however, none of the armour modelling in S44 is even remotely realistic. Every engagement turns into AP-Pong.
I'm jealous mate, wish I could play this game, the visuals and sound design are really cool.
Play Darkest Hour (also has vids on Tiger's channel) if you can't run PS. ;)
Pershing looks really good! Can't wait to try it out for myself
Great tank, he is fast and have a lot of firepower i am sure you will have fun :)
Great vid man! That was a fun and intense match we had :D
Cheers mate, it was really fun to play with you :)

In total they have added 40 vehicles!
@@samualjackson4704 True words :)
I never expected to see the Whizbang Sherman (earlier version of Calliope) featured in a game, let alone an FPS like Squad 44
Yes, the variety of vehicles in Squad 44 is pretty good, I have to say :)
this is the most intense match iv seen
Holy crap that is epic!
Thoze extra spaces on the sherman, are for troops to sit outside it, right?
Yep, thats right ;)

Ogah ogah it took 8519023 shermans to kill a tiger
Devs said they’re already working on fixing it watch Nano’s video of Squad 44
Now you can see the sight of the tank without the zoom?

you can on most of them

Left Alt + Mouse Wheel
Squad 44 game shows no servers lol for more than a month.
Other games, like Squad work fine.
I've never had this problem before but maybe you can take a look at the community hub on Steam or on Reddit there will definitely be help :)
