Bob Schmitt & Enso Daiko perform Daichi

Brush painter Bob Schmitt performs with Enso Daiko in Minneapolis on July 11 2019.
This taiko piece, Daichi, was created by Yuichi Kimura of Daichi No Kai
from Kobe, Japan to commemorate the survivors of the Great Hanshin earthquake
in 1995.
In this rendition Schmitt echoes the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi, with gold paint repairing the shattered enso (circle) into a whole.
