  • Holiday On Mumbai's Famous Beach - Juhu Beach in Mumbai, India
My 1st impressions of Mumbai: • My 1st Day In Mumbai, ...
I am still in Mumbai, India. Since it's pretty warm and sunny here, I thought that a day at the Juhu Beach in Mumbai would be great. Plenty of locals told me then Mumbai Juhu beach is the number one beach to chill here in Mumbai (also known as Bombay). After getting some Mumbai first impressions already in my previous video, we will now go check out the beach here. But before I head to the beach, I need to get a shave and go shopping on Mumbai's best street market. Join me for a holiday on Mumbai's famous beach!

Ken, for the prices, unless a big supermarket chain that gives discounts, mostly other stores sell at MRP(Maximum retail price)which is set at product level and is the same for each product irrespective of where you purchase from. This is a little different from the USA or other Western Nations where stores have the power to sell at the price they want to sell at.

While bigger malls stores like dmart or reliance they buy in bulk so they display original price and discounted price on shelfes for products

@@crimsonblad5 yes that's true, but small store owners usually don't do that... As price is their on the packet n they have to sell on mrp... And usually customer know what's the price of that product...

    Hey Ken,
You visited one of the small convenience store chain like 7 eleven which is smaller than a big super market. However big supermarket chains like Reliance Retail, D Mart, Big Bazaar, Nature’s Basket, Spencers, LuLu, Hypercity, Spar, 24Seven, Metro are similar to Walmart or Kaufland. These supermarkets will have price and discount labels on the shelves.
Wish you could have visited Bandra, Andheri and Dadar which would have provided you with a much better glimpse of Mumbai city. The city is huge and a densely populated cosmopolitan. You must explore the local cuisine of Maharashtra as well at some prominent eateries in these areas.
    Where are you headed next?

Oh gosh, l haven't come across a supermarket where prices of goods are not displayed on the shelves 😅 Maybe that's a mini market. (Sorry if l'm wrong) A nice bag bought from that fixed price shop but it"s indeed a surprise when he can give you a discount 😂 Oh wow, there is a big crowd on that famous Mumbai's beach.

8:00 Note Ken that this is the best way to buy as its Max Retail Price. Its standard practice in India. No one can just sell at higher price than that. The way you see other countries is actually allows them to hike or lower price by own tags, where customer may not know actual MRP. Hence this is best way and practice.

@@globomanni8407 Incorrect analysis. These are very popular known destinations among both domestic and international tourists, whoever visit India but certainly not the best 4 destinations in India. There are plenty of best destinations to explore in all 28 states and 8 union territories of India which people are still not aware or few have ventured in the past.

@@globomanni8407 There is a difference between popular and best destinations. In a vast and diverse country like India there are plenty of best destinations and it depends upon what kind of places tourist are choosing to venture whether landscape/nature eco tourism, wildlife, historical and heritage, adventure, leisure, holistic health and recreation, culliary food and culture, rural, folklore and handicrafts, medical, beach, sports, alternative, agro tourism, business, geotourism, etc to mention few. So unless there is clarity, it is quite difficult to pick such places to explore in india. It would be easier to suggest, if you mention what kind of tourism you are interested 😉
