I lost my fabulous DIL to ovarian cancer. She could not get pregnant and so an exploratory procedure was done to find out what the problem was and then it was found. They also tested her sister who was found to have stage 2 breast cancer and she also died. They both had little children. It is so sad to lose anyone but particularly young mothers. My son raised all 3 of the children.
This morning dr has said if you have any of these symptoms for three weeks then say you think you could have ovarian cancer this will flag up to the receptionist and she will pass on great advice we know our bodies ladies
13:26 I have been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in September, had the total hysterectomy and ovaries removed, stage 1c2. Just completing my adjuvant 6th chemotherapy. I had a pinching pain on the left side for a week. Nothing else, but knowing that I had 5 IVF in the past I went to my gp and got the ball rolling. So fingers crossed. Follow ups are for 10 years to get the clear bill of health. Listen to your body, it is a mean decease.
Thank you so much for this information, knowledge and advice around such an important subject and giving us confidence to push getting our thoughts out to our GP and how to get further if nothing is progressing . Close people to me have not been seen soon enough or listened to particularly during and since covid and the out come hasn't been good ,awful actually wish more were like this lady 🌈

I have seen 3 GYN doctors and they do not approve of HRT. I also went to an endocrinologist and he said no. to HRT. It's very frustrating.
my mum died from ovarian cancer I cn not say how much she suffered toward the end but it was harrowing to watch her slip away
I do a monthly donation to the Eve Appeal charity.
