- Good Afternoon! This video covers the installation process I went through for the Dinan Midpipe install on my 2018 bmw m240i. The midpipe deletes the two resonators on the car and really deepens the tone of the exhaust. The pipe also seemed to increase the volume by about 10 decibels! The product would definitely get a recommendation from me! Make sure to leave a like if you enjoyed, comment, and to subscribe for more!

I just replaced my stock muffler on my 2017 M240i 6-speed with a M-performance muffler and the sound is greatly improved. My muffler valve was driving me crazy with a loud rattle/buzz on cold start. The nice thing about the M-performance muffler for my car is that it doesn't have a valve so the flow is always wide open! Now I'm considering doing the Dinan midpipe that deletes both resonators, but I'm wondering what it would do to the sound, and would it introduce an undesirable drone? My new muffler has much more growl than the stock muffler, and a nice whi e at around 3k rpm. Has anyone e do e what I'm considering? I was going g to go for a Eisenmann RACE muffler, but I've been told that the cops are cracking down on loud cars when entering near our downtown area in Vancouver, BC, so I opted for the safer option and I'm not disappointed.
I am not sure on the drone because I dont have the m performance muffler which changes everything. With the stock muffler and dinan midpipe i dont notice any drone. Someone else that has those may be able to provide some feedback
Is everything else stock to your exhaust ?
Yes, everything else on the car is stock
any engine codes come up after doing this?
