- In today’s episode we disembark the Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ship for a port stop in Eden. Eden is half way between Melbourne and Sydney Australia. Let’s have a look at what there is to do in Eden, the transport, restaurants and vibe of the town. We spend the afternoon back on the boat enjoying the ships offerings.

Shame about the bad weather. We were on the Queen Elizabeth for her first ever visit to Eden. The weather was really nice so we had a good walk around the town. It was just after the bad bushfires and as the ship approached land, we could see all the black bush surrounding the town. They were very lucky to avoid getting burnt out. Watching this, I really wished I was in the Lido to have something yummy to eat.
Oh wow, that would have been sad to see all the burnt landscape around Eden! Yes very lucky the town centre was ok.
I have driven past Eden many times but never stopped. Interesting little town with the History.
Yeah we had never heard of it before the cruise.
As always lovely to spend time with you. Eden did not seem geared for a whole day of interest did cunard offer excursions to anywhere else. I was wondering if the shuttle bus was free. Back to the future is one of those films you can watch again and again.
Thanks for watching. There were tours you could pay for but we just walked around for a bit. If we went to the museum that would have filled up the day a bit more but we decided to go back and use facilities. Yes the shuttle was free into the town centre/Main Street.
