(1) Thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful recipe.
I tried it and it turned out to be so yummy and mouth-watering. We could feel aroma and taste of all spices while eating. It is really something different than other fish curry recipes. Thank you very much. God bless you.
(2) Few of my folks are vegetarian. Is it possible to cook same curry with vegetables. If yes, what vegetables I should prefer, and is there anything I need to do differently (or is it just replacing fish with veggies)?
Very happy to hear that 🥰🥰thanks a lot..
You can use drumsticks, raw banana,Brinjal or even raw mango( make sure you add less cocum or no cocum depends on the sourness of mango) instead of fish ..hope this helps

Hi Edenic ,sorry about tat .it's mustard seeds ,cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, shallots and curry leaves .. Happy cooking
Conform add kadampuli ❓❓❓❓❓❓❓( kantipa add pannanuma
Yummy 😋
I was making fish curry for the first time and selected this recipe primarily due to the short length of the video. Everything went according to the plan, just that the curry turned out to be bitter. My neighbour fellow mallus came for repair (my wife had to go to India) and they said I have added more coriander powder than whats required. Seems like the one table spoon coriander powder is an overkill. Should this be one tea spoon ?
Hi Rigil,so sorry to hear that it didn't turned out good for u ..I used 1 tbsp coriander powder only and I never faced bitter taste to my fish curry ...
@@Allrecipeshub no worries. I did not mean to sound it like a complain as I was completely alien to cooking till about a month back. I also used an earthen pot, so possibly some of the masala powders might have got burnt a bit. Nevertheless, the gravy was thick and with some hot water addition, this tasted good (atleast my son had it without any complaints) and thats all what mattered !
Maybe you added a lot of fenugreek seeds. That can make a dish bitter.
What mean koadampuli plz replay
What are kokum leaves?
Hi Sherry,it's Malabar tamarind ..if you don't get it ,you can try with regular tamarind ,.hope it helps ,,
What fish did u use here.. and what's cocum? Is it the normal tamarind that we use for cooking or something different?
Hi Roshni, i have used King fish steaks.Kokum is not the regular tamarind(It is used as a staple souring agent typically in Goan cuisine,Kerala etc. Kokum yields a peculiar flavour and blackish red colour. As a souring agent, it is used as an alternative to tamarind in curries and other dishes from the Goa and Konkan region). If you dont get,you can use regular tamarind too
I tried the dish exactly how it was shown in the video, it turned out to be HEAVENLY!! Must try people, very simple. Only time taking process is to extract coconut milk.
Thanks a lot Girish 😍😍
Hdj
I forgot the tempering still it turned out heavenly😋
@@Allrecipeshub👈 If coconut milk is not available what’s the other option, is it ok to put fresh milk
@ygpwnxd_xd752 hi ,sorry ,fresh milk is not a option
