Several years ago I went to a John Jorgenson concert with his Gypsy Jazz group. My wife went with me. After the concert, she asked if I really liked Gypsy Jazz. I told her, "Not really, but I really appreciate hearing a master playing his instrument (guitar)." That brings us to your videos. The genre you sometimes select is not my cup of tea. However, the mastery you exhibit on the trombone is worth the listening experience. This video, like your others, was not a disappointment. As for your, "...thinking about adding some live sessions to UA-cam just to talk about some of my processes like how I think about arranging, recording, mastering, video editing, etc.," would be very much appreciated by me (even if I am an old "has been"). Thanks, Michael. You’ve been one of my earliest listeners of if I recall. To your point, one thing I’ve picked up on in the art world is that you have to create things YOU want to see. Otherwise, things get insincere quickly.
