How do we deal with sales tax and vat tax now that it's being implemented everywhere! It's like a DOUBLE tax! The buyer is paying ebay the VAT tax but then when I have to order the items from the dropshipping merchant website, I'm being charged sales tax / vat tax so it's coming out of my profit margins! The vat tax the buyer paid to ebay doesn't come to me. It goes straight to ebay. So is the only solution now to raise our selling prices to include the hidden sales/vat taxes??? This is crazy. For example, before if I sold a $20 item, I'd buy it for $15 and have it shipped free so my profit would be $5. But now they buy it for $20 and pay $2 sales tax to ebay so total $22 but I am only getting $20. When I buy it for $15 at the merchant website, I'm being dinged $2 for sales tax, so I'm paying $17 now and my profit dwindles to $3. Now multiply this with hundreds of orders per year and that money adds! It's even worse for EU countries now. I have to pay $5,$10 or more out of my own pocket for VAT tax and usually that makes my profit $0 or even minus so I'm losing money!
You can become tax exempt. It doesn’t get rid of it completely but it helps

You can list it on both and keep it on both!

im using fbm fox for shops but my items are not showing up in marketplace? I have the business asset selected
You need to toggle on push to marketplace. It’s not available for everyone
@@PaulJLipsky I have the options selected and it says marketplace is a channel and it says visible but I don’t see any of my listings on the marketplace

It can, yes. But you need to sell in the US market so it's easier for people here in the USA

While it is possible to make a lot of money with dropshipping, it is ultimately up to you, your expertise and how much you hustle. I’ve seen people make a LOT of money every month with this and I’ve seen other people who never even got started and didn’t make anything.
There is no way your making very much money from using retail stores
