    Hi, excuse me for bother you but I'm very very new to this hobby and I would like to know if a minitelescope with a 360 focal lenght and f 6 is good to use with a reflex and a star adventurer, or what can you suggest me if not.

    Hi Kamil. Thanks for this video. I just bought the ASI 294 mm pro and I notice strange gradients in my individual images and in the Ha master. My filter is Antila 3nm. This happens to me with M42 but not with B33 and I took both objects 1 day apart with the same setup without modifying anything under the same conditions and the same calibration shots: Darks, Bias and Flats. In B33 I have no problem in Ha or in RGB but with M42 only in Ha. The strange thing is that these spots appear in each individual shot. My previous ASI 1600 mm pro did not cause these problems, any suggestions please? Thank you very much and clear skies.

    I have the option to get this camera of a asi533mm, I love the fov with asi294mm but not sure if I want to deal with any flat issues. What to decide...

    Hi Kamil , i have the same problem with l extreme and 294mcpro, how i can resolve that ? Could you help me ? What is the difference between the old and the new dark frame ? Thanks !

    I'm planning on buying a QHY294M (same sensor), what did you do wrong with your first dark frames?

    • @kamilkp
      @kamilkp  2 роки тому +2

      They were from March which means they were a few months old and also I might have some light leaking in when I shot them. They were a tiny bit too bright than the new ones I’ve shot. Overall it is a great sensor for astrophotography but it’s not forgiving any mistakes hehe 😉

      @@kamilkp I'm looking very much forward to using it as my first astro-camera! Still not sure if I should go with QHY or ZWO but QHY will definitely save me quite a few €

      Yeah that’s a quite pricey cam. I don’t have any experience with QHYs so I can’t help you decide, sorry

      @@kamilkp No problem 😁 I also saw your review of the Pegasus rotator and that also seems like a very nice addition. Man this hobby is expensive 😅😂

    Hi Kamil, I hope you are well. I watched the videos you suggested but I think I should watch them many times since it is somewhat difficult for me to understand the solution. In your case, what was the new thing you did in your stacking process? Did you just use the WBPP script to integrate all your shots? I would greatly appreciate your comments please. Greetings

      I basically reshot my darks and made sure they are taken properly. My issues stemmed from bad darks and not bad flats like I thought

    I have had the same issue and watched those Adam’s videos. Questions are 1. Why darks so much change with time? 2. Is it only for 294mm? 3. How often to take flats and darks?
    By the way, what software do you use to take flats and darks?
    Thanks

  • @vinikrish
    @vinikrish 2 роки тому +1

    Hi.. so was there any difference between the process of taking darks for the "old" and "new" darks?

    • @kamilkp
      @kamilkp  2 роки тому

      Yes. The new darks were shot exactly in the same setting as dark flats: with my flat panel turned off serving as the scope cover and everything wrapped in a black blanket held to the top of the tune by jump rope to prevent light leaks
