It's now a walk in only campsite. 10km walk and you need to bring everything, food, water even firewood. The following is from the NSW NPS website- No vehicle access It's a long, roughly 10km walk to reach Newnes campground. The campground is walk-in only because Wolgan Road has collapsed and there's a landslip risk at Wolgan Gap. Wolgan Road was the only vehicle access into the valley and is managed by Lithgow Council.
Awesome stuff team Nightingall 👌. Trucks sounding great, beautiful rock cliffs and unlike Jess. I was happy to watch you make damper (but I LOL'd hard at that bit)
Hi Angus. Yeah no problems. The river crossing is not normally very deep. There are some fairly steep bits but no major obstacles that require high lifts and big tyres. You’ll be right. Have fun.
Gidday Tyler I live in Newcastle and Googled Caravan Hire near me. That guy with the caravan just around the corner from home came up and that was it. Pretty random, sorry that’s all I’ve got.

Do you think you could do most of the tracks around that area without a snorkel?
Hi Aaron
Yes mate no problem nothing very deep and a snorkel is not necessary if you are driving any proper 4WD.
