"Roaming above you, I am the silence Ghouls killed lie above the mound" Even if those aren't the real lyrics, Hoshino's lyrics have a fever dream quality to it, kinda like an inkblot test. I also like that the Halo remix doesn't change the melody, it just keeps piling on instruments like dead bodies until the first channel is the only channel.
In my opinion this track shows how different V was from the previous games. The start feels strait up oppressive dystopia, showing this time the world has ended, but this time it may be the last. Like a final act of a series. The lyrics in the second half and for a lot of acv and acvd songs have these distorted and frantic singers, giving a sense of uncertainty and leaves an frantic feeling
Well yeah but Verdict day is still not the end, at the ending we only defeated J and maybe also the foundation? either way after defeating them there are also still the towers and the 3 forces
@@lethalshed2272 Sadly, I think they might not continue the VD story even if they do continue and start making AC games again. I only think this because they stopped Fourth Gen by only making literally two games. Although your logic does make sense, I doubt they’ll continue Gen V. For community reasons as well.
@@lethalshed2272 Maybe an AC6, since FS did say that they were interested in incorporating a sort of different style with their next game, taking some "inspiration" from Dark Souls or something.
The transition between the first half into the second half of the song is just... BEAUTIFUL! The stark contrast in composition and sound, with the first half being your typical NEXTs fighting each other on an empty, barren land and the later half being the descend into pure chaos, something a squad of 5th gen ACs can bring to the war zone. Simply beautiful. Don't know if there's official lyric for the later half of the song yet but I'll try: Calling for you, truth behind innocence! Ghosts of beginning that I used to know, hey!
This reminds me an awful lot of the contrast between Vendetta and Vengeance in ACV. Two ACs that were fundamentally the same but stood and fought for different reasons. The first song being like the old school next battles as another put it, and the second descending into pure chaos. I dont remember his name but Vendetta's pilot is very much like an old school next pilot right down to the way he treats other pilots, even those he considers as enemies he treated with respect. The Pilot of Vengeance fights you out of fear and cowardice, not wanting to die. But all NEXT pilots go into battle fully expecting their own death, it's why old school pilots can still form a kinship with even the most hated of enemies.. because it takes courage to fight inspite of death, and not in trying to avoid it.
@@Linksays Saying "NEXT" is something of a Force of Habit from previous experience, it is something that I rarely notice I am doing. Thank you for clearing the names up, as I can only ever seem to remember the names of the AC and never their pilots... Perhaps a habit from White Glint, given who their pilot is.
@@mikedavies6979 It's fine. Because I was introduced first into ACFA, and then bought ACV for myself, it makes it easier for me to differentiate. And in a way, ACVD does indeed have a NEXT. The remains of White Glint, reborn into N-WGIX.
I'm still stuck here trying to figure out what is being said on the second part of the song, only words I got that sounds like they're being said is sadness and lonely. Which I came up with my own lyrics: "Only you can become weak with sadness, thus begin the blood of the lonely" to me it doesn't make any sense but IDK. Till the official lyrics come out imma assume this is what's being said
The Cadence remake was ok. Not the biggest fan of the original track to begin with so this new one does a neat job in upping it. THAT Halo remake however... GOD DAMN. The added vocals add a new level of pressure. Shame it's soo short.

Yeah well lets hope they make another Gen V armored core or maybe Armored core 6?

Easily one of my top favorites of the album. I only wish it was longer.
sIRE THIS IS THE SONG OF THE GENERATION V
Rasmus Johansson It actually is a modified version of ACV’s Main Menu: Cadence Call
Rasmus Johansson and yeah kinda does if you think about it
Calling for you to be high in the silence. Go sneaking up on your memory
There really is no song like a kota hoshino one this is no exception
Kota Hoshino's music is too good!!!!
Yeeessssh

NEXT? We’re Ravens/Migrants in ACV.
And Vengeance is Roy Dominato, and Vendetta is Jack Batty, Fran’s foster father

Does anyone have the official lyrics though?

Where's the halo remake thing?
I think it's Choral remix instead of Cadence call
Absolutely epic
Love this one
2024 anyone
2088 anyone ?
Wish there was a link to the background picture.

Fromsoftware where the fuck is Armored core 6?
Guess what…

yess AC6 is finally here omg
THE ARMORED CORE IS REAL! 😭
Give it a few days
reminds me of ludex gundyr's theme from DS3
The guy who composed Gundyr's theme, Tsukasa Saitoh, also did tracks for the AC series.
@@sudentor thats awesome!
@@sudentor Specifically Tsukasa Saitoh is the drummer for Frequency the band that fromsoftware made specifically for Armored core.
