Wilson was better than most everyone else, but even Wilson had his moments of assuming House was just an asshole when house was actually trying to be a good guy.

There was Andi too, the 9 year old cancer patient, who was going to die, if he didn't do this wild, crazy operation to find the blood clot that would kill her in days. He respected her for being strong and brave enough to risk it all, and then live with the pain of her cancer that would kill her anyway in about a year, because she loved her mother so much. She also wanted to get as much life as she could before the end and he respects people who are brave and keep fighting. It was a really beautiful moment when he came to her bedside and offered her an out if she wanted really wanted one.
I love the detail about House leaving his cane behind because he knows the pain he goes through wouldn't compare to the pain she just went through and he knows it. This show was absolutely brilliant.
It’s that his priorities have changed and he completely forgot about himself when caring for her. Can also be the metaphor of him being there for her to lean on, he becomes her metaphorical cane.
From "Son of Coma Guy", House understood that results are what matter. And this instance, even after doing everything right, the patient died...the desired result did NOT materialize. Sometimes, solving the puzzle does NOT provide you any answers and leaves you with NO satisfaction!
@@infiniti7773 Fat emboli are inherent risks during surgical procedures, especially under those circumstances. It's HIGHLY likely that doing the amputation earlier would not have mitigated the risk.
For those who want to know what happened afterwards, the trauma of her leg being crushed for so long then being amputated caused a fat embolism which went to her lungs, causing what’s called a pulmonary embolism. They are fatal and she died in the ambulance.
Not always fatal......your comment comes across that you seem to believe that they are 100% fatal. This one in particular in this show was fatal, but they aren't fatal, they can be fatal and they have a high likelihood of being fatal but people survive after having them.
Ashmit thats why House would never qualify as a psychopath or sociopath. he clearly showed he had feelings and the main reason he avoided patients was to keep himself objective.
@Constantine Constans Except that his decision, and thus his wife's decision to go against it cost him his wife, any friends he had except Wilson, strained his relationship with Cuddy, and make him a bitter cynic who had nothing and nobody but his job. House knows better than anyone what it's like to be in that situation and the value of a leg. He even said it himself that he regrets it, and that's why he told her to let them amputate. He wanted her to give up half her leg to save her life and everything in it, rather than risk all of it on the chance that she might get to keep her leg and retain almost full use of it.
@@PTJ_S I’ve heard both of those defrauded both those ways unfortunately so it’s still not obvious. I think psychopath better fits it as it’s a psychological pathology as opposed to a socialised pathology, I think the latter would be incapable of properly mimicking social conventions to trick others
Well he did care and he did empathize with her - but it was actually his duty to prepare her for this and tell the truth. Plus, he almost always tells the truth to his patients
This is honestly one of the saddest moments I've seen in all of television. House didn't want to amputate, she didn't want to have her leg cut off, but he still needed to convince her anyway. Then, she died on the way to the hospital. Truly a heartbreaking moment.
@Constantine Constans truly spoken like someone who has never experienced a traumatic injury before. i'm not even in daily pain because of my foot but i still wish they had amputated it instead of the hack job they did trying to save it. it is NOT always better to save an appendage.
@Constantine Constans Lol, you should feel blessed and thankful that you clearly have never suffered from chronic pain. Spoken by someone who apparently hasn't endured anything worse than a stubbed toe in their life.
He connects with most patients actually. He's extremely empathetic while also being extremely logical. Just because I'm empathetic doesn't mean I'm not an asshole. He connects with the patients, but it's a one way street.
Kevin Peniku Same. I always.loved the episodes where we got to see that House was indeed human. This one was one of them and this is why love this episode.
aesthetics, dont turn of pain completely there is no way to do that, theres a reason for most people getting amputated being on high dosages of morphine, i think don't quote me on that.
Corrupted Cyborg When they amputate they usually can knock them out but in this situation they cant and Unfortunetly lidocaine wont do shit in the situation. He's cutting the bone. So you're correct. In this situation they give them the highest form of pain medication possible and if they feel like it won't harm the patient they will give them a drug like klonopin so they're out of it aka twilight zone. To where they are not anesthetized but they aren't fully awake either. There's unfortunately so easy or non painful way to amputate in the field. I hope I never have to do this. But as a trauma surgeon I would have to before most surgeons.
Fun fact from wikipedia: This episode was shot entirely using Canon EOS 5D Mark II cameras. These digital SLRcameras are primarily designed for still-picture photographs, but are one of the first to include high-definition video recording capability. These allowed the production team to work in very tight spaces, using minimal lighting, while also offering a very shallow depth of field putting the backgrounds out of focus, and making the work very challenging for the focus pullers.
Such a beautiful scene. We finally get to see House for who he really is. Buried underneath all that cynicism and self loathing, is a truly kind and compassionate soul. Closely guarded. The part of him that he keeps locked away so deeply. The reason why he doesn't let people get close. Because he can't stand the pain of losing someone. His whole life is pain.
The "embolism" is more tragic b/c fat embolisms are caused by bone breakages, especially long bones like leg bones. So in the end, there was really no saving her.
no no, i was agreeing with you, I was just elaborating on the fat embolism part, I haven't seen the episode so I don't know if it was a throw line, or if they explained that the choice that House made was futile in the end, sometimes you can't just save a patient, you know.
Snaggle Toothed True but for now it still is not as good as having both legs, besides I practice kung fu and while prostetics might help with running it wouldn't work with the level of flexibilty(in the sense of the different ways you can use/move your leg not in the sense of how far it can bend) you need for martial arts
+Snaggle Toothed There was a flash flood a few years ago in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A man in his fifties on my street went out to move his car and a sudden swell swept his feet out from under him and pinned him underneath his car, where he drowned. I always remember him because he helped my pregnant wife clear the walkway of ice one time the previous winter while I was away working two-week stints in the mountains.
This is literally the most decent and caring House has been with the patient. Which is what makes this episode the most heartbreaking out of them all (even the finale)
He has shown kindness before. He is caring by default because he always does his best to save his patients even risking his own neck in the process. Real kindness is not about demonstrations.
This episode closed House's character arc. This is the true final episode imo. They pushed the show on a while longer, but the final episode, thematically speaking, is just this episode but stilted and dragged out longer. House realizes he needs to change. He finally moves beyond the various injuries of his past. He leaves his cane behind as they carry the girl out to the ambulance. No coincidence obviously, its very important symbolically, and from that moment on we understand House has reconciled his past.
I thought the official ending episode would have been where house get sent to the mental institution with Wilson right by your side and Chase and the rest of the crew or at a wedding
I love this moment of self realization, it's just a leg and honestly your life is more important than a limb. It's further driven home when her husband tells her that's not important and that she is all he wants, and that he is happy she is alive.
Thomas Ilves but at least House gave them a few minutes together. if it wasn't for him probably she wouldn't have been found and no one to convince her to do the right thing. its sad he didn't see that
Sara Zonana But then what kind of psycho do you have to be to leave someone because they lost 1 leg ? It's not like the person became mentally retarded to a point she needed constant 24/7 checking and service from her husband. She would still be relatively independant.
I've been hit by a car after I went into shock I was still in horrible pain while it hurt less because of the shock it was still the worse pain I've ever felt in my life so that's not why it would've hurt 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
StHammer I thought so too. Cranston won a shitload of Emmy for Breaking Bad but I felt like Hugh Laurie's performance in House could totally be compared to his performance in Breaking Bad. Such such good actors.
if i choose the winner Hugh Laurie would win wining every year he is nominated. he is that great of an actor. the best actor alive. here my top 5 1 Hugh Laurie 2 Daniel Day Lewis 3 Ralph Fiennes 4 Robert Downey Jr 5 Al Pacino
"how bad will it hurt?" "Like nothing you've ever felt before" God damn such a powerful exchange. I've seen most episodes of this series, and this set of lines is one of the only ones to be seared into my memory.
the "life is pain" shouting match in the final season is the one that gets me. House vents his frustration at wilson for giving up because house believes this life is all you get
Yeah I just commented the same thing pretty much. The way he delivers that has really stuck with me through the years. Cold yet sympathetic at the same time. He really should have won an Emmy for this episode
Could have just given her 200mg of ketamine... would have made that amputation a snap for her. No pain, no memory of the event. But of course that would have made it less dramatic.
"Like nothing you've ever felt" the way he delivers that line is cold yet somehow sympathetic at the same time. Hugh should have won an Emmy for this episode
I had the same feeling as I got jarred to awareness with the ending and then transitioned to the comments on autopilot as my mind was still trying to process the clip I'd just watched.
House saw so much of himself in Hana. Saving her would have been like saving himself. He knew the value of a leg, more than anyone there. He fought to help her keep hers, just as he fought to keep his own. When finally there was no other choice, he helped her accept it. Her dying in the ambulance later was one of the strongest tragedies in the series.
"You'll be running circles around me in no time." In the end, he is honest even with the fatal reminder that it will feel like nothing you have ever felt before. A veritable mirror to what you wish to hide from yourself.
Maybe it's because I kind of understand the person House is, but what Cuddy said was a bit harsh. Someone may not have anything (career or relationship) in their life, but it doesn't mean it's worthless and there's no permission to act as so. I'm not looking for anything in my life. I don't want a big money career where I'm the boss or a relationship or children. For someone who's spent a lot of her life depressed and little to no motivation to actually live, if I can hit the age 50, I think I've accomplished something great. House has shown he is very suicidal and doesn't really care about others or even making himself happy. Maybe he doesn't want anything but acting like that's pathetic is kind of mean. Not everyone wants the world
I always got that House is at his happiest when diagnosing weird/rare diseases and actually saving people's lives. What happens when he has to retire? He doesn't have anything else to fall back on for, and he might become a drug-addled lunatic because of that. He's not suicidal (he's willing to try anything on his leg)...but the pain and the cynical nature he has makes him pull away from everybody like a mofo. I mean, look at the fact that he treats everyone like dirt...plus his motto ("Everyone lies.")
Soulsreaper Like they said not everybody needs the world to make them happy. If you need it then good for you go for it, but some can go without wanting everything. It's called being a minimalist.
She said those things precisely because she cares about him and wants him to change. And you can tell she regrets hurting him, afterwards. Of course he's not worthless. All his coworkers actually care about him no matter how he fucks up their relationships and he saved how many lives?
NeijiHina, nobody seems to have actually solved "the existential crisis" of meaning in life... many find "purpose" in relationships, which are, ultimately, just extension of the "pyramid scheme" … being conscious is a confounding "gift" from the universe and is only available presently.
Interestingly enough, in the first season, in a flashback showing how House's leg came to be damaged, House and Stacey are arguing about whether or not House should have the surgery to remove his leg, and Stacey tells him that if it were anyone else in his place, he'd be telling them to just let doctors remove it because "it's just a leg," and, sure enough, in this episode, where he's trying to convince this woman to let him remove her leg, he says exactly that: "It's just a leg."
such a powerful episode because it covers a life theme I haven't seen covered on TV before - sometimes even when you give something your all and sacrifice everything, you still fail. you don't fail because you screwed up, you fail because the universe decided it for literally no reason. most people dismiss this "futility" stuff as pessimistic, cynical, and negative energy they don't want on their mind. but it's a real theme in our lives and I appreciate the producers for covering it so well.
I also wanna add: this is House at his most reduced. He has hit rock bottom, as Cuddy sadistically points out, he truly has nothing left and is grasping at straws. When we lose everything, all that's left is our truest most raw of selves and that's the House we're forced to see here. it's not easy. this is truly one of the greatest episodes in the entire show's history.
@@brianbernstein3826 Also said beaitufully, even better than the initial comment. And I absolutely agree with everything - both concerning hitting the rock bottom and concerning this episode, it's one of the most brilliant on TV ever.
Season 6 was my favorite season of House. It had a great premiere episode and a great finale episode. This whole episode was so touching, and when House said that he wished he had amputated his leg, we could all feel his pain. It was for me, the first time I really got to know the degree of pain he's been feeling. For once, he really connected to a patient. He got vulnerable with his story about his leg not only to convince her to do the right thing but he got vulnerable to show her what the reality would be if she didn't amputate.
Yo Shinji Get In The Robot I remember that episode where he tried to remove the tumours in his leg by himself in the bathtub. Hugh Laurie made it seem so darn real I literally felt him screaming and I wanted to help him so badly. His performance as House still leaves me in awe
I think this is the most honest and human moment we get out of house in the series. He’s not being selfish. He has no agenda. He’s not trying to manipulate. He tells her how he messed up by saving his leg. He doesn’t want her to be like him. For just a bit, house comes to terms with who he is.
This scene hits harder when you rewatch it after seeing the whole series, it is definitely the most open house gets with a patient about his past. Brings me to tears everytime even knowing what happens after.
Does anyone replay when he tells her, " I'm in pain everyday it changed me made me harder person even worse person now I'm alone". I feel for him when he says that xc now we know why House is the way he is.
@Constantine Constans You know, amputation doesn’t happen because of some future inconvenience in life. It’s a last resort. Without amputating it, it can cause infection to spread or become useless anyways, in which it begins to rot and eventually falls off. If that happens though, your entire body would be too sick to cure. So no, in this case it’s not stupid, it’s literally the safest option they had.
@Constantine Constans you also have to take into account that the treatment house underwent was not only within a certain time frame, *in* a hospital, and *with proper medical equipment,* but it was also extremely risky. Even riskier than doing an amputation like that.
Somehow, that fact - that sometimes things do just happen - seemed like it might be the scariest and saddest truth of all.” ― Ali Benjamin, The Thing About Jellyfish
House hates that there's any futility to life. When "Esther" died, he couldn't figure out WHY and it became an obsession for him until "All-in". House WANTS to know that all of his insights, all of his intelligence can so easily be rendered impotent just like a simple clot can resign House to a lifetime of agony and misery!
the actress (china shavers) portrays pain really well here, a lot better than they usually do in this show which makes me think it wasn't just direction. she isn't just screaming bloody murder constantly thrashing around, she's moaning because she can't make any other vocalization and writhing likes she's trying to get away from something inescapable.
That speech, out of all the sad things in house, made me tear up. I could see the pain in his eyes as he said she had a husband, friends, a life - implying he had nothing.
I love this scene because it shows just how deep House's empathy truly is, he even left his cane behind because to him its not fair she suffers and he doesnt - he just never lets himself experience it because it nearly destroys him every time he does.
Medieval times? Try the Civil War in the United States; battlefield amputations were a too common occurrence, and there was usually a lack of anesthetic.
You know, medieval doctors really didn't amputate often at all. For one, bone-setting was well known about, and they knew that a simple break when reset would heal in time. They often didn't partake in many complex surgeries like amputation due to religious reasons.
Oh man, Hannah and her husband, although not on the show for long, were some of my favorite characters. Their love is so pure. You can see the pure relief in his face when she comes out of there. Love this episode so much.
Imagine being one of the people outside waiting for the amputation to finish and just hearing that poor woman's screams of agony. I'd probably be tearing up for her
I couldn't do that work. I'd be sobbing and crying and a complete wreck, good for nothing. Massive props to people who do and can still find compassion at the end of a terrible day!
This scene was amazing. It’s nice to see House treat patients like this, obviously because he relates to her so much. I still need to watch the whole series but I know he isn’t like this with all of his patients and I think it’s refreshing to see him take care of a patient like this. It almost made me cry because this scene was more real than others are in my opinion. House is usually snarky and keeps a distance to some extent but he got on a personal level with this woman and I loved that.
yeah but it's been played with on them. Usually they first get dosed on insulin in a hospital setting. It's only after they've been taught how to and after a hospital stay do they self dose outside of a hospital setting.
Foreman: "You can't blame yourself for her death, this wasn't your fault." House: "THAT'S THE POINT!! I did everything right, she died anyway! Why the hell do you think that would make me feel any better?"
I have watched this series over and over and I think I found where House developed his motto that "Everybody Lies" it came with him losing the ability of his leg. His girlfriend at the time I forget her name and Cuddy his friend both schemed behind his back to do an operation on his leg Yes it probably saved his life but in his mind the two people he trusted the most went behind his back against what he wanted. And throughout the series they really don't do anything to help him with this realization. Wilson and Cuddy talk about him behind his back and he finds out because he is very calculated and has studied their behaviors to figure when something is up. And I bet it hurts everytime they tell him something or hide something from him just because they're afraid to face him and deal with his shouting. It's sad that the people who shouldn't be lying to him, have lied to him for 8 Seasons and if I remember their dates the show takes place from 2004-2008 so that's four years of it and longer because of his leg.
Episode 21 and 22 were absolutely amazing that I rewatched them both 5 times before moving onto season 7 just for the pure brilliance that is Hugh Laurie's acting, there was so much emotion in those episodes and so much talent from the cast, especially the fight between House and Cuddy before the amputation, that had me gobsmacked. I can't express how much I love this show.
It's moments like the one where he talked her into the amputation and then did it that point out exactly how brilliant of a character Greg House really was. If I somehow miraculously live to be 100 years old, I'll never forget my first time binge watching this show. It's been nearly a decade already and a lot of the episodes still stick to me like glue. They stuck to me so well that I can even remember what I was doing simultaneously while watching said episodes in many cases, all the way down to the meals and snacks I was eating during them 😅
“i’m in pain every day, and it changed me. it made me harder.” i started having chronic pain out of nowhere when i was thirteen. every year since then it’s gotten worse and i feel like a shadow of my former self. i’m so irritable all the time and it never seems like anyone believes me. so many days just spent laying down because moving my legs or spine hurts so much i almost pass out.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I know what that's like. The problem is, if people can't see the cause of pain, they won't believe it. I don't know why that is but it is.
This should've been the series finale. "that's the point" is the perfect summation of House's character, and despite losing a patient, Cuddy coming to him in his lowest moment is the bittersweet reward for staying clean all season. Couldn't have ended any better.

That wasn't the metaphor.

“THAT’S THE POINT! I did everything right and she died anyway.”
The most poignant House moment, inexplicably cut out of this clip.
From "Son of Coma Guy", House understood that results are what matter. And this instance, even after doing everything right, the patient died...the desired result did NOT materialize. Sometimes, solving the puzzle does NOT provide you any answers and leaves you with NO satisfaction!
Channel really bad for that

@@victorpradha9946 did he really do everything right though? What if they amputated immediately?
@@infiniti7773 Fat emboli are inherent risks during surgical procedures, especially under those circumstances. It's HIGHLY likely that doing the amputation earlier would not have mitigated the risk.
For those who want to know what happened afterwards, the trauma of her leg being crushed for so long then being amputated caused a fat embolism which went to her lungs, causing what’s called a pulmonary embolism. They are fatal and she died in the ambulance.
They are not always fatal. I survived a pulmonary embolism about 10 years ago. But they are very often fatal
Christ..
Not always fatal......your comment comes across that you seem to believe that they are 100% fatal. This one in particular in this show was fatal, but they aren't fatal, they can be fatal and they have a high likelihood of being fatal but people survive after having them.
Definitely not always fatal, I’ve survived three in 8 years.
@@JKush83 how'd you get three? Not judging, just curious.
House actually had emotions and knew the importance of a leg more than anyone else so he just wanted no one else to become a cripple like him.
Ashmit thats why House would never qualify as a psychopath or sociopath.
he clearly showed he had feelings and the main reason he avoided patients was to keep himself objective.
Sara Zonana exactly
Sociopaths are great actors by the way. They know what to say and when to say it. Simple.
He likely has sociopathy and not psychopathy
This is honestly one of the saddest moments I've seen in all of television. House didn't want to amputate, she didn't want to have her leg cut off, but he still needed to convince her anyway. Then, she died on the way to the hospital. Truly a heartbreaking moment.
Who is the actress playing the young woman. She was also excellent in this and very, very believable.
@Constantine Constans I dunno. Would you? You'd rather be in pain for the rest of your life than have your leg chopped off while you're sleeping?
@Constantine Constans You'd be sleeping. You ever have surgery? You can't wake up, lol. If you could, surgery wouldn't work.

I hate that they killed the one patient House connected with :( I mean... I get it but at the same time...it sucks.

His whole life is pain.

no no, i was agreeing with you, I was just elaborating on the fat embolism part, I haven't seen the episode so I don't know if it was a throw line, or if they explained that the choice that House made was futile in the end, sometimes you can't just save a patient, you know.
It's probably better anyway, I don't think I could live without a leg.
This has to be the saddest episode of house I've seen. He actually cared for the patient and something he couldn't control killed her

House saw so much of himself in Hana. Saving her would have been like saving himself. He knew the value of a leg, more than anyone there. He fought to help her keep hers, just as he fought to keep his own. When finally there was no other choice, he helped her accept it.

Sayeh Rahbari in my opinion 97 seconds was the saddest, but this is up there
Maybe it's because I kind of understand the person House is, but what Cuddy said was a bit harsh.
I mean, look at the fact that he treats everyone like dirt...plus his motto ("Everyone lies.")
its sad ur letting ur life just waste on by
Soulsreaper Like they said not everybody needs the world to make them happy.
"How bad is it going to hurt?"
"Like nothing you've ever felt before"
Goosebumps every single time...
and she held his hand 😢
such a powerful episode because it covers a life theme I haven't seen covered on TV before - sometimes even when you give something your all and sacrifice everything, you still fail. you don't fail because you screwed up, you fail because the universe decided it for literally no reason. most people dismiss this "futility" stuff as pessimistic, cynical, and negative energy they don't want on their mind. but it's a real theme in our lives and I appreciate the producers for covering it so well.
That was worded beautifully
I have seen some anime shows cover this before. Maybe if I am asked about what those shows are in a month or so, I can remember them.
"The universe" doesn't decide anything. If you fail, it's your fault. Doesn't matter big or small, it's your fault.
It's one of those things where, at least for me, I wished more than ever I could have saved him.
Yo Shinji Get In The Robot I remember that episode where he tried to remove the tumours in his leg by himself in the bathtub. Hugh Laurie made it seem so darn real I literally felt him screaming and I wanted to help him so badly. His performance as House still leaves me in awe

They need to continue it, the next couple scenes are very powerful.
I love how house wasn’t mean or sarcastic to her. He understood her position and was kind, and wanted her to be safe.
Does anyone replay when he tells her, " I'm in pain everyday it changed me made me harder person even worse person now I'm alone". I feel for him when he says that xc now we know why House is the way he is.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that we aren't in this woman's place.
The fact that he held her hand when she reached for it, and I mean really held it tight...feels, man.

It's shame she won't live -
But then again, who does?
"That's the point" scene was so real in this episode. I think it was the peak for Hugh in the whole show.
I know it’s a show and they’re just actors but that woman’s emotions and scream make me cry every time.
the actress (china shavers) portrays pain really well here, a lot better than they usually do in this show which makes me think it wasn't just direction. she isn't just screaming bloody murder constantly thrashing around, she's moaning because she can't make any other vocalization and writhing likes she's trying to get away from something inescapable.
Yep he does care
7:10 I like how he left his cane, as if he decided to be in more pain and walk without it to remind why he decided to amputate her leg.
The true face of courage.
Whether Cuddy was in the right or not, House will always come on top. Him slamming the ambulance doors in front of her is so satisfying.
The first time I watched this episode I couldn't speak for an hour. Absolutely one of the best episodes of the series. My core was shook to the bone.
That would be so terrifying, knowing your about to lose a leg. I can't imagine mid evil times.
You meant medieval, but yeah. How often do people thank science and scientists and doctors?
smurfyday We also need to thank all those who suffered from those doctors and scientist. Saving lives while taking some.
Medieval times? Try the Civil War in the United States; battlefield amputations were a too common occurrence, and there was usually a lack of anesthetic.
R/boneapplete
You know, medieval doctors really didn't amputate often at all. For one, bone-setting was well known about, and they knew that a simple break when reset would heal in time. They often didn't partake in many complex surgeries like amputation due to religious reasons.

Max dosages you can normally get in pens though is 30-60 units, possibly more depending on the pen.
yeah but it's been played with on them. Usually they first get dosed on insulin in a hospital setting. It's only after they've been taught how to and after a hospital stay do they self dose outside of a hospital setting.
Ashley ASHLEYM yea but the doctors already know how to use those pens so
Any diabetic would know, House better reimburse for the insulin
This is the most sincere and serious I think I've ever seen House be towards a patient, really nice change of pace to be honest.
Probably the saddest episode. You can literally feel the fear that comes from being completely alone.
I felt pain in my right leg watching this...
Foreman: "You can't blame yourself for her death, this wasn't your fault."
House: "THAT'S THE POINT!! I did everything right, she died anyway! Why the hell do you think that would make me feel any better?"

One of my favorite House moments...his tenderness was refreshing to hear.
This might be the best of Hugh Laurie's performance the entire series.
I love that he left his cane behind. Punishes himself with pain because of what he had to put her through.
Hugh Laurie was brilliant in this show
"How bad will it hurt?" - Moements before disaster.
This was by far one of the most emotional episodes for me. House genuinely seemed like he had his soul destroyed.
The is genuinely one of the best episodes in all of houses 8 seasons, the acting of everyone involved was top notch.
"Wilson is moving on" woah Cuddy, relax the foreshadowing a bit.
This clip was a reminder that house is human, and that no matter how many buttons he presses, he also has his own
This should've been the series finale. "that's the point" is the perfect summation of House's character, and despite losing a patient, Cuddy coming to him in his lowest moment is the bittersweet reward for staying clean all season. Couldn't have ended any better.
