This is my first time watching the women's tournament and I have to say, these women can ball. Celeste Taylor came in clutch in the second half. If they manage to get past SC, I don't see them beating Stanford or Louisville.

They also get healthy freshmen that went down beginning of year but came back late and just didn't fit in well but she will start next year. Then u got the amazing 3 I call them ... Ashley, Diamond and Faith returning as only juniors with another year of experience under them. People forget how young Ashley and Diamond are and how much more they can improve every game learning still . So u got from what I hear a pretty good guard coming in and u never know with transfers. It was amazing they got bibby and benson this year. I would love to see some girls come in either with little size that can rebound off bench or someone that can play great defense is what that really need . They got a ton of guards but need front court help and size would be nice .
Ncaa refs are trash. Each time Terps drove the ball Texas flopped and got the home cooking calls all night long. Give Texas credit for keep flopping since they kept calling it in their favor but dam that was shameful to watch. They allowed Texas flopping to ruined a perfectly oiled offensive machine that would’ve moved the women’s game a lot more forward. This is why many fans stay away from the women’s game too much flopping and home cooking. Terps will be back better than ever with Owusu and Diamond finally getting their first Ncaa tourney taste. If Both Bibby and Katie come back Terps will be Preseason top 3 and one of the favs to win it all next season. Tough way to end the season but I knew once I saw Texas in our bracket in their backyard I knew the ncaa were setting us up for just this type of let down. Lol they are afraid Maryland may just ruined their perfect UConn V SC match up for ratings. Well it was fun watching the women’s tourney I’m signing out for the rest of this poorly officiated games til next season Go Terps 🐢
