+ADDEs Transporting Adventures! Are you sure that is a DEVE hydraulic (rather than a chinese copycat). This lift isn't at all old (I thought that DEVE had long since been taken over). That lift has one of the cheapest lift cars that I have ever seen. It doesn't look much more substantial than a Domus lift. The hydraulics on this lift are ever so thin. I have seen DEVE chain hydraulics (such as at Denbies vineyard), these looked far more professional than this.
When DEVE got bought by Schindler, Schindler sold out most of DEVEs stuff later on. The piston and the ventiles were sold to a italian Company called GMW, so GMW might be involved into that elevator.
