    Wonderful. Modelsvit kits deliver high quality at a high price, but it's worth it since the only alternative is the troublesome models from A-Model. Keep it up!

    Great work on that Sukhoi, as usual. Also, nice to see the guys from Master44 are still designing kit masters, for Modelsvit in this case. Knew them working for Amodel and Avis; they did some very fine work back then and keep the touch today.

    FWIW, you can remove Mr. Surfacer 500 from, e.g., the wing roots, with a cotton swab dampened with rubbing alcohol. Much cheaper and won't attack the plastic in any way.

      @doctormig2709  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks for the tip.I used to us nail polish remover but it stinks a lot.I tried with the alchohol but mr leveling thinner removes it much easier and it does not melt the plastic.

    The scriber you are using is considered very inconvenient by modellers. A difficult model. I also bought a Su-7B from this company. Try the puttying method: apply a nitro primer on the seam, and then wipe it with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol (two minutes after application). You can also buy JLC microsaw blades to cut through the paneling.

    • @doctormig2709
      @doctormig2709  Рік тому +1

      I find it easy to use.I habe been using it for more than 15 years :D i also jse the jlc razor saw for scribing.Intend to avoid any kind of putty because overtime they shrink and you can have a visible seam or at least uneveb surface.Plua that the putty or the nitro primer are softer than plastic and easy to damage while scribing.That is why i use superglue for that purpose as much as I can.
