Nyamasvisva We Maungira Enharira Profile

Wilfred Mafrika a.k.a Nyamasvisva is a Gwenyambira. He was on the 30th of January 1969 in a family of seven, three girls and four boys. His brothers are Gwenyambiras as well.
He started his career under Mbira dze Nharira, however, In 2005 he left Mbira Dze Nharira and formed his own band called Maungira eNharira. Alfred Mafrika was admitted into ZIMURA membership in 1999.
The Musango hitmaker scooped NAMA Awards Best Mbira twice, in 2006 for the album "Maungira" and in 2007 "Chinamanenji". Some of his popular songs are "Gona Rehushavi", "Musango Muneyi", "Chitovapasi", "Kusuwa Musha", amongst others. He has toured in countries like America, China, Sweden, Germany and Japan.
