In 1964 I saw The Young Ones ten times at the cinema in Bucharest. I was 14 years old and I haven't stop since now to love Sir and his music. Can't wait October 2021 the show at RAH..Thank you and God bless Sir.
In 1962, I was 17 years old and sailing in the West Pacific on the USS Graffias AF29, When they played The Young ones" movie on the ship. I was so impressed with the movie, I watched it every time they played it on the ship. It was sentimental and impressive to a young kid, and still is to this old kid. I was in a rock band on the ship, and was REALLY impressed with The Shadows. Before I got out of the Navy, I found the soundtrack, and still have the record. My wonderful wife found the movie a few years ago, and bought it for me. The '50's & '60's were simple times, and I have a great collection of records from that period. In 1958, My Dad let me grow my hair like Elvis and all the other rock and rollers, and thankfully I still have it, and it's not very gray. It's too bad today's kids couldn't appeciate the good times of the '50's.

I loved it ... this was a fantastic live performance! I have been a fan of Cliff and The Shadows since they started out in the music business around 60 years ago. With all that talent, it's no surprise that, over the years, they have become legends of British popular music. However, I am surprised that, on this occasion, Hank's colourful jacket outdid Cliff's! It is truly a 'coat of many colours'!
Born in 1949 I lived in a time when I should have heard this artist's music while growing up. I was then and still, at 73, an avid listener of music from the 50's and 60's. It wasn't until today, July 28, 2022, that I discovered this man and his talent. I often set UA-cam up and let it play in the background while in my garage pursuing my other lifelong interest...cars. One thing I've noticed when listening to the music from my youth I suddenly am 16-19 all over again. All the memories come back, and those years melt away. Especially if I put a song on repeat and sit in one of my late 50's/early 60's cars. This song is playing as I pay tribute to a talent I wish I had discovered a long time ago.
Cliff is so awesome as well as Hank Marvin. Since my teenage years, I'm so blessed to listened to their talents as an artist. We're lucky enough to have them in our generation. Watching Fr.California
